"Waitress very welcoming. Pub quite quiet. Service good but quality of food for most of group was poor even though it was fairly cheap. I had 3 bean chilli. Served with rice in a tortilla basket. The tortilla was hard and inedible. Rice was cooked well but completely dry even with the chilli on top as there was absolutely no sauce. It was almost as if the dish had been cooked early morning and just left in oven to dry out. My other friends were not happy about their food either lots of food left. Chips very overcooked. Such a shame as we were made very welcome. So good for drinks but certainly not food."

We had a nice Sunday lunch at the Red Lion to celebrate our wedding with friends. The food was great and there were plenty of menu options. It was crowded, but service was quick considering our large group.

The food is really top-notch, and the service is outstanding. They have a unique menu with some great choices you don 't see everywhere else. And you can tell all the desserts are homemade and super tasty. Definitely worth the money!
