Lovely local pub, very nice couple running the pub, and my Lamb and Mint pie with my whiskey bread pudding were excellent.

Nice friendly pub good menu choice inc vegetarian vegan options. Excellent service good beer dog friendly what’s not to like?

we had an excellent meal today. the food was well prepared, beautifully presented and very tasty. we will be back when we are back in the opposite.

what a nice little pub. eating was the best I ever tried. my 90-year-old mother-in-law had the biggest fish cake I've ever seen and everyone has eaten shredded of food, compliment to the cook. would recommend everyone.

a five star village pub for excellent eating, beer and service. also just a short distance from the main road. each of 6 of us had another court and all were very good. that was a second visit. personal very nice to our children

great eating, an unexpected warm welcome, great beer. incredible Sunday dinner, all freshly cooked vegetables, proper gravur, really top-class. it took a few weeks to get a table and now I understand why. book a few weeks ahead as it is so popular with villagers. I paid twice the price in london and had not eaten so good.

Excellent pints of Palmers IPA straight from the barrel. This is a temporary arrangement, it's usually on hand pump. I enjoyed the experience of eating an extremely good steak, mushroom ale pie, chips, peas gravy from a cardboard box. I would say, however, that gravy and cardboard boxes aren't necessarily a good mix. Pleasant garden.

We had a holiday in Dorset and after checking local restaurants reviews online, telephoned the Crown Inn in Uploders to book a table. I spoke to Karin the chef and after explaining my husband’s dietary needs, she said that her menu could be adjusted to suit him. When we arrived, Karin sat at our table and went through the menu advising which dishes could be tweaked for my husband. The food was delicious. I have never known such a high level of customer service and a willingness of all the staff to ensure we had a good experience.
