"The owner of this establishment almost ran me over in the street today near my home whilst driving his car at an unacceptable speed. He reversed his car back to shout at me and then did a full loop of the town to come back and shout at me again 5 minutes later whilst I was chatting to a gentleman who had visited Lyme Regis to see the house that he was born in for what he said would be the last time. Someone I had never met before. We shared lovely conversation and hugs. The owner of LBK on his second run up my street swore at me, told me to look at his private number plate on his car (LBK whatever) and told me not to go to the restaurant again. Considering that I live in Lyme Regis and support his business all year, dining there most Sundays (even when the tourists have left for the winter) how dare he behave in such a manner. Not acceptable. I would strongly recommend that nobody frequents LBK if this is the way that one will be treated. I am beyond disgusted."

brilliant eating! highly recommended. we ordered burger and pommes to take with. great service, they were fast, tasty, perfectly cooked and large portions. best sweet potato fries I've had for a long time. when we visit them again, we will come back here in the final. Thank you.

My partner and my self came across this lovely burger place and seen that they had a number of vegetarian burgers as well, unfortunately they had sold of the vegetarian burgers but they did cater for me and my partners. My partners burger was the best burger he has ever had he said. We will be back again and hopefully I will get to try one of the vegetarian burgers. Voir le carte

Our 10-minute wait for fish and chips turned into 25 minutes. Although we were first in the place to order (take away), a couple who arrived after us (eat in) got their fish and chips served first. Then, at least on three separate occasions, locals who had ordered just chips got served. Nice fish and chips, but I wouldn't go back. There's plenty of other shop around. Food: 5

After wandering around Lyme Regis we found this little gem. Probably the most underpriced restaurant I have visited. The food is incredible. The burgers are perfect and not greasy. Everything is fresh. The batter on my fish was the lightest and crispiest I have had. The fish was perfectly cooked, not in the slightest bit oily. The hospitality is excellent. Very quirky and such a pleasure to have found this restaurant. Will be going back soon, although it's a 50mile trip its worth it.
