"We didn't dine in, we just stopped in for some food and it was absolutely delicious! I typically don't get too excited about Italian cuisine, so I was pleasantly surprised to have one of the best meals ever at this restaurant! We started with the focaccia bread, followed by a mini cheese pizza and the mouthwatering venison ragu. The wait staff recommended the feather steak and Herby potatoes, cooked medium rare, and it was truly amazing! This restaurant is a must-visit for food in Sherborne."

Had their excellent lunch. £15 per head for set menu four small courses. Total cost of £50.50 including meal for 2, a couple of glasses of wine, one dessert, and a tip. Really high quality and delicious meal. Recommended

that was my place when I lived in sherborne and spent many drunken nights here. it could not be a better location at the lower edge of the road with view of the abbey, and has some great history (it was actually considered mortuary by. the abbey in the past sherborne has some big pubs, but that was always mu favorite.

This restaurant in the West Country serves some of the best Italian cuisine I have ever tasted. The menu offers a variety of small dishes, similar to tapas but with an Italian twist. They are all delicious. Located across from Sherborne Abbey, the restaurant also offers fantastic outdoor dining in the back. It is our favorite spot for lunch. Voir le carte

Needs to make clear that it is a restaurant if that is indeed what it is rather than a pub and take that stupid sign down from outside. You are told you can't have a drink there on a Saturday evening as all the tables are reserved. At least the manager was bleatingly polite I sensed he was (rightly) worried about the direction things were about to take.

However, the food is nothing special and is quite expensive for what you get. The concept of small plates is okay, but the taste and variety are lacking. There are a lot of fried dishes, cheese-based options, and meat or salami. There is a lack of healthier options on the menu.
