"My wife and I had Sunday lunch here on a special deal with Amazon Local. We paid £9.95 each for a really lovely meal and some of the best roast beef we have had for a long time. The hotel is located in the rural setting of Woughton on the Green on the edge of Milton Keynes and combines country house charm with traditional furnishings. There is plenty of parking .We ate in Lanes Restaurant (it isn't called Seasons any longer) which was quite busy with only a few tables left. The service from start to finish was professional and friendly. There are three choices on the menu but we had a tomato and pepper soup with croutons that were a little soggy but the soup tasted great. I had smoked salmon and crayfish with a mary rose sauce, again very tasty. For main course we had the traditional roast beef and Yorkshire puddings with roast potatoes and vegetables. The beef was outstanding, cooked medium rare and sliced very generously. The horseradish sauce they served was outstanding with nice pieces of horseradish that made it zesty and flavoursome. This contrasts with the rather wishy washy horseradish you normally get in restaurants. Slightly less impressive were the vegetables as there were only a few shards of limp carrots and parsnips, but the beef more than made up for it. A separate pot of gravy was brought to the table, again a nice touch usually only seen in more expensive restaurants.My wife didn’t have dessert but I had burnt cream or crème brule which was really good. For drinks we asked for a bottle of sparkling water but unfortunately they just poured carbonated chilled filtered tap water from a bottle, which neither of us like, then took the bottle away. I have never been to a restaurant that successfully does this and this one was no exception. The wine was a very acceptable French chardonnay at £25. Generally the wine list caters for all budgets but is a little on the expensive side.We would thoroughly recommend a visit here for Sunday lunch and even better if you can get a great deal as we did."

Very nice restaurant, difficult to fault. Good professional staff, everything spotlessly clean, one of the best restaurant's in Milton Keynes, in my opinion.

We had pre-ordered a group dinner, but the service was extremely slow and we felt that the quality of the food did not justify the high prices. The drinks were also very expensive, with two glasses of wine costing £20.

Ate in this hotel restaurant which aspires to, and delivers on, fine dining at a reasonable price. Staff made an effort to make you feel welcome. Fillet beef main was very good, as was the pork belly starter. Lovely place to eat. Voir le carte

Very disappointing! We went there on our anniversary. My wife's food wasn't as described on the menu. They have admitted the chef made a mistake. But all they have offered was: we are sorry! They have not offered a discount or exchange!

We enjoyed a special dinner here last night cannot fault the service or food. We found this place through Groupon which was an incredibly good deal we would definitely come back for a special meal again. The restaurant was quiet with a nice modern feel.

We booked in for Sunday lunch were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service food. The food was superlative. The young staff were delightful extremely attentive, professional quite charming. Went Hereford Sunday lunch as part of an Amazon Local deal, which was kindly extended past the use by date the hotel.We were served promptly by effeceient young staff. The dining room was laid upto a high standard. Good chices available on the men all presented well and served promptly food was tasty and all portions were ample.

We came here on 25 Jan for my partners birthday. The restaurant was nearly empty. We expected that as the restaurant is advertised as ‘fine dining’ that we would get a really special experience. However the food was mediocre and the service sub-standard. It is a shame as we have stayed here before and enjoyed it. However the restaurant is very expensive for the quality of food and level of service you get and it certainly was not what we were expecting. Will not be coming here for dinner again and will not be recommending it. After the meal we both feel quite unwell which is not acceptable at all.
