Fantastico experience, Sunday was brilliant. Staff were busy but looked after us. Little wait on food. Full restaurant so understand and we were told and we’re given some bread whilst we waited. Staff are kind and welcoming. Nice atmosphere with candles on Sunday Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

On an autumn day we enjoyed the crackling fire and the atmosphere delivered by the team here. We have some lovely conversation with Georgia about the surrounding areas. Had lunch today 7/10/23 which was really nice and really good value but the reason for such a great experience was the service it was exceptional we had our english bull terrier Frank with us and the lady that was serving us was a credit to the restaurant she was so polite efficient also very complimentary about Frank he was given fresh water and a treat really made his day Many thanks

I have to say I was disappointed on this occasion. Taking my mum out for a birthday lunch was not as special as I hoped. My issues were- not accepting cash which greatly inconvenienced a customer. Food was over cooked including the 'pink ' steak which was very overcooked. No knives, forks or condiments available, the door back inside locking up leaving customers having to walk to the front of the building, the table not being cleaned between services, and the impression that the staff were irritated by the customers. The weather was lovely for October and we sat outside in a very pretty courtyard.

The visit went well. It was disappointing that we didn’t get a welcome and that the bar stuff were more interested in cleaning rather than saying hello, but nonetheless, we got seated quickly. We ordered drinks, which came promptly and we had two roast dinners. The food was of good quality and the portion size was ok. The taste was good and I was happy with the selection of food I had, although some more vegetables would have been nice. I asked for another Bellini after my meal and the waitress forgot to bring it but they managed to bring my friend’s coffee and pudding, which was 1 mouthful of cheesecake!
