Delightful garden location and sun trap behind the very busy high street. Very welcoming and staff friendly and helpful. Interesting pub menu with a reasonable choice and fairly priced. Excellent quality food and good sized portions. A most enjoyable experience. Thank you

we have frequented thi inn for the last 2 years. we travel 50 miles to have lunch or dinner. it is excellent. brilliant ambience the locals who use this inn are refined and sociable. the staff and ownerare only to pleased to give good service and be helpful. very dog friendly with a large open garden and consevatory

On our first visit to Stockbridge we didn't have a food plan. I'd heard there were lovely places to eat. We stumbled across the three Cups on a cold day. It looked inviting so we went in. a popular place to meet with friends so we can arrange a cozy lunch and after an 18-month gap there was plenty to catch. was the restaurant in the position to deliver on the food part? service was slow (which is exactly what we wanted) and very friendly. the soup and ham soup was a meal in itself and perfect on a frosty day. the highlight was the broken lake. it was everyone's choice and went a tasty bite.

Staff were lovely and attentive but unfortunately some of the food was letting them down. Child's fish and chips was presented on hot plate and the fish contained several long bones and did not appear cooked therefore did not chance giving this to our two year old granddaughter. On advising two separate staff members they did apologize and spoke to kitchen who said they order filleted fish... They still charged £8.00 for child's meal that she couldn't eat!

We have been here a few times over the last few years and enjoyed it each time. But on principle I would not return. We called in last week on a lunchtime I ordered a green tea the tea pot was stained so badly it had obviously never seen the dishwasher it was black and frankly it was disgusting. I ordered ham and egg and one of the egg yolks was bordering on a cream colour the palest yellow ever and the texture was weird so I couldn’t eat it. Indicating it was probably way out of date. The house coleslaw is usually lovely but it was the bulk standard shop bought stuff on my plate. For the money I was disappointed. I did tell the young man behind the bar. Our third visit in recent months and it will be our last. Four of us went here for lunch having reserved a table. The place was far from busy but we had to ambush a member of staff to place a food order; a £13.95 chicken caesar salad came with precisely half a hard boiled egg, too much parmesan, too much lettuce and dry bits of chicken breast which could very easily have been bought pre packed from the Co op over the road. We had to ask for a wine list, ask for a water refill, ask twice for black pepper, mayo and ketchup, ask for the bill and ask again for a card machine and as we left, the individual who had provided what was such a poor level of service that we very unusually declined to l...

We stumbled across this fabulous pub over a wintery lunch time and whilst exploring Stockbridge village. Having not planned to eat out, we were offered a very warm welcome and a great choice of beers and ciders on the pumps. The fire was lit and the pub was busy with locals and visiting diners, so having found ourselves seats right by the fire, we couldn't resist checking out the lunch menu and we are so glad that we did!!! Our choice of a starter and a bar snack were not perhaps conventional ones, but the crispy baby squid was perfectly cooked and served with a beautifully dressed salad. The gourmet chips were a similarly delicious accompaniment that would easily challenge some of the best...

for the first time with the view of the examination of the opposite to visit stockbridge was pleasantly surprised, no real ground like the ambiente. parked in front of the three tassen, as it was the only space available and went for a walk along the high road. it was a very cool Sunday afternoon at 2.30 and the longer the walk went on the warm pub and a hot Sunday dinner beckoned. the three tassen have put the bill very warm, cozy and welcoming, although a little on the lower deck side: the three tassen it seemed served up to 15 o'clock and they had a table available for two so that we caught it and drink it over the check of the menu and drink.
