What a great find, staff were so friendly and food is very fresh and very tasty. We had the seafood stew, macaroni cheese and duck shepherd's pie. They were all exceptional. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was beautifully presented, though the taste was average. The service was excellent and the price per person ranged from £20–30. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 3, the service a rating of 4, and the atmosphere a rating of 3.

We decided to stop by this restaurant last minute, just for a small dessert and a cup of tea. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, and the delicious sticky toffee pudding. Even our well-behaved dog was well catered to. We would not hesitate to return for a full meal. 5/5 for food.

Dog friendly with a really cheerful staff, the food is excellent, my wife is vegetarian and they have an excellent menu for her, for the carnivorous members of the party there was a fantastic choice. What a splendid place this is! The steak and ale pie was the most delicious I have ever eaten and the young woman who served us was utterly delightful!
