"Took my wife here, as a treat for her birthday. We enjoy eating out alot. This place has got to be, one of the best places I have eaten in a long time. We were given a warm welcome on arrival, shown to our table by a very confident polite young man. We chose our food from the Al a carte menu. We were not disappointed. The bavette steak with shittarki mushrooms salt beef pudding, was to die for. Then for pudding my wife had sticky toffee pudding I had the chocolate pot. Wow, complements to the chef his staff. One of the best country pubs I have been in. The menu was limited to about 6 choices, but were very different from the normal pub fare. We were a party of 4 and chose 3 different diners. All were excellent, extremely tasty cooked very skillfully and wonderfully presented. Well recommended. The outside space looked very nice and exciting too but unfortunately we didn't have time to experience it. We will definitely return, highly recommended.

Fantastic food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. We had dinner and were blown away. Food that makes you go wow that's amazing. The chocolate dessert may well be the best thing my wife has ever eaten. We are going back. We went back, and even better than we remembered. Great food, cooked by people who clearly love food and served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The village is an hours drive down some narrow roads, worth every pothole.
