"We used to enjoy walking to the Prince of Wales for a drink and a meal. However, it seems that the restaurant is now under new management and the quality has significantly declined. The outdoor area was messy with no tables on the grass, and the food was practically inedible. The garlic bread seemed barely cooked, the pie and mash were unpleasant with strange things floating in the gravy, and my wife's jacket potato was green and topped with supposed pulled pork. It is clear that the menu is now mass-produced and lacks any quality. Fullers seems to have overlooked the fact that this pub is now the only one in a wealthy area. We wasted £30 on this disappointing experience and will not be returning. We recommend avoiding this place at all costs, as it is empty even on a sunny Friday lunchtime."

After enjoying excellent fish and chips in the summer we ordered a takeaway Sunday lunch in October. Thought the beef was nothing short of excellent and will definitely return.

Visited after lockdown and was very impressed with the way everything was organised. Was even more blown away by the quality of the food and wine however. A lovely meal and excellent value for money!

Comfortable pub with 2 seating areas and large car park to the side of the pub. We had delicious fish and chips and avocado and palma ham salads and the pub are very kindly still doing the Eat Out prices, too!

Had a great time at The Prince of Wales in Westcott, visited during the summer months and the pub offers a very nice outdoor decking area and beer garden. There is a great selection of drinks and the food is lovely! Especially Sunday roasts!!

My family and I recently visited the Prince of Wales in Westcott, Dorking, to try out their new pub menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The lamb shanks and chicken burger were both delicious. The service was also excellent. Overall, we had a great experience at the Prince of Wales. Voir le carte

We brought our family for lunch at this restaurant and were very impressed with the quality of the cuisine. The food was high quality, comparable to what you would find in more upscale establishments. The decor and furniture were quite basic, indicating that the restaurant could benefit from a renovation to attract more customers. Despite its current appearance, the restaurant is located in a beautiful setting in the Surrey Hills. It would greatly benefit from an upgrade, but in the meantime, it deserves support for its excellent food.

Despite being the only place to eat out in Westcott, a charming village of over 2,000 people, and having a superb chef, the pub is sadly in need of a makeover. Neglected infrastructure has resulted in a chilly bar area, and a restaurant reminiscent of the 1950s. The publican is a fantastic chef. The menu is excellent and food produced is delicious. The bar staff are friendly and helpful, there is a lovely garden and decking area, plus a large forecourt potential, and excellent parking. It is in a great position to attract people driving past on the A25. This pub could be the heart of the village if only the decor could be more inviting.
