Staff friendly, food really good, also able to veganize a lot of the vegetarian food!

Loved this place room was lovely and clean ,food was fantastic and staff were lovely too .

We had a yummy Sunday roast here. Our waiter Naren was so lovely. He was very friendly and checked in on us frequently to make sure we were all doing well. We all agreed we would go back just to see him again: Voir le carte

This pub seems to be nice in a summer with a great outdoor area and live music, however quite casual inside, surprised lack of Christmas decorations… food was pretty ordinary, i wouldn’t return for it. Ribs were a bit dry and fish dish was simply small and missed a good taste.

I started with the vegetable meze, veganized, and it was a great platter with one of the best babaganosh I've ever had. Just be aware, it is very garlic-heavy. The mushroom burger was incredibly tasty and Roberto provided excellent service. There are also meat options available for the whole family. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A very well organised restaurant with a busy feel and a friendly manner. The carvery is generous and has everything you would want. The vegetables, though, can get a bit tired after a while on the buffet. They found us a place for two near the bar, despite being fully booked. I dined at a restaurant with a diverse menu that offers many vegan options. I decided to try the mushroom burger, which the staff informed me was not served in a traditional bun due to containing egg. Instead, they served it on a pita bread with a side salad and chips. The burger was topped with vegan cheese and I must say, it was delicious. I highly recommend it!

I have visited this restaurant a few times now, once with my boyfriend and once with my family, both of whom are meat eaters. This place is great for finding a balance, as they offer a variety of options for both meat eaters and vegans. The soup is consistently delicious and fresh, and I highly recommend the gnocchi as well. It's not easy to find a place that can cater to both meat lovers and vegans, but this restaurant does it well. Plus, they even have vegan cheese available!

We had a very good Sunday lunch here: vegan mezze with tasty homemade baba ganoush and hummus (and cheeze), followed by tofu curry and tomato cheezy gnocchi. My only peeve was that the curry was served in a separate bowl to the dish of rice a bit fiddly as there was no spoon. There were even puds that weren’t sorbet *gasp*. Chocolate torte and affogato with coconut ice cream. Food was clearly made with care and thought. The pub is also close to two beauty spots, which are great for walking: St Martha’s Hill and Newlands Corner. Voir le carte
