We ordered food and it was cold,no gravy with the pie which was on the menu as included!,burger cold not nice,chips cold,gamon was warm.The staff who served us were NOT friendly dident offer any conferment either. Had a fantastic meal on Friday evening. The staff headed by Lauren were excellent. The food was absolutely gorgeous and very reasonable. I had the smothered platter was presented really well and tasted so good. Can not wait to go back. Blue light discount was an added bonus. Thank you to all at the Heath. We are semi regular visitors. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is cheap and cheerful. The only issue is that there is only ever 1 member of staff on the bar. They are clearly overrun which leads to long wait times. The poor single member of bar staff cannot keep up. Honestly you'd get served quicker at a wetherspoons with a queue 10 deep. we were already 5 times in the heath and each food was cooked to perfection. the personal and service are really consistent. there is a really friendly atmosphere that really makes her time at heath special. would be highly recommended. we booked a table for a 3-course menu at the silvester, which was cheap. we had a great time that has now led us to book this year for Christmas!

Slightly long wait to be seated, but the place seemed understaffed and the staff who were on shift were all very lovely and helpful. The food itself was unfortunately quite bland. I had the turkey and it tasted like the cook had just cut an unseasoned slab off of a turkey and whacked it on the plate. We as a nation really must learn to season our food again! I cannot fault the wait staff, who seemed to be working hard, were as quick as circumstances allowed, and friendly. The available toilets were not accessible, with one door you need to push to get into the narrow corridor that houses them, and another push door to get into the toilet rooms themselves.
