we visited the opposite and we decided that the reviews and menu for the carpenter’s arms meant that it was worth visiting. we came to a warm welcome and despite the fact that they were a very busy restaurant inc. a big party in her functional room, the staff was very polite and attentive. we had to wait a bit until our food arrives, but that was hardly surprising given the crowds there. but it was good to wait! the quality of eating was excellent and was very tasty. highly recommended and will visit again if in the opposite!
