The Dog And Duck - Carte

FAB food we were 2 adults five kids and 2 dogs. Lovely park at rear. Pizza was lovely and vegetarian curry gorgeous. Huge difference when staff are friendly too.

Food cooked to perfection. Family friendly and plenty of space for little ones to run around in the park next to the pub. Will definitely be returning in the near future!

Since our previous visit in the summer/autumn we've been to the Duck twice recently in November and December and it was as before top class. Will be going back again soon, Voir le carte

This charming and welcoming pub offers a selection of Addams ciders and beers. They also serve food. The outdoor area has picnic tables and overlooks a local playground, making it a great spot for families with children.

I only saw this pub because I was on a rail replacement bus a few weeks ago that came to the station opposite! I looked the pub up and booked it based on the reviews. Definitely not disappointed. The service was friendly and the food was a really good standard. The pub was warm and the atmosphere was relaxed. I'll definitely go back.

I walked in to this very charming restaurant on a Friday night and they could not have been more helpful. The service and smile was wonderful and the chef had no problem making me as a vegan some good falafel and a most excellent roasted cauliflower curry. All smiles from the staff and I have booked to go back tomorrow. Highly recommend!! Voir le carte

Had a surprise party for my 60th in December and it was a truly wonderful, memorable evening. The little side room is a perfect venue for a family get-together and the staff were superb. I know that every single one of us enjoyed every minute of it and the food was excellent. I just can't thank The Duck and everyone enough for making it a brilliant night to remember!! 100/10 for definite :

Booked at The Duck for a party of 16 to celebrate my sister's 60th. We reserved a small ish side room and it was absolutely ideal! Ok, so 16 was a little bit of a squeeze, but we were all friends! The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. There was an excellent selection of food on the menu and specials board, especially as we had forewarned them that there were a few vegetarians among us. The food came out all together, delicious, well cooked and hot. Everyone had a great evening! Thank you!

Booked a table for New Years Eve having been told by staff that there would be a Live Band for entertainment On arrival and ordering waitress informed us there was no live band after all because, quote We did not get enough table bookings un quote !! Oh dear, how mercenary and not to mention drumming up trade by false pretences! The piped music was patchy at best and the seasonal decorations very thin on the ground. Don 't know if the establishment stayed open until midnight as we left before this time. Food though was excellent, there again it should be considering what one pays for it. Voir le carte
