"We always enjoy dining at this restaurant because the food and service are consistently excellent. Unfortunately, during one of our meals, we found an unexpected ingredient in our salad - a live slug. The waitress was very apologetic and promptly replaced the meal, but after having already eaten half of it, we were hesitant to order another. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to see that we were charged the full amount. Upon questioning this, as we believed the meal was not up to standard, the manager was unhelpful and only reluctantly removed the charge for one dessert. He seemed to believe that replacing the meal was sufficient compensation, despite none of us actually consuming our salads. The evening was ultimately spoiled by the manager's dismissive attitude."

I ordered the fillet steak cooked medium rare and it came out just as I asked. The other steaks my companions ordered were also cooked perfectly. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful.

We had an early dinner before heading to the theater in Eastbourne, a place we had never been to before. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and excellent service. Parking was convenient, just off the A22 with plenty of parking spaces available. The meal was a dine-in dinner, with a price range of £20-£30 per person.
