"I had my first meal at Godstone Inn last Saturday, and to sum up, it was incredible! The vegan menu is really extensive and exciting, far more than you would expect. I had fried calamari to start (the first time I've even seen vegan calamari) and it was sensational, served on a bed of crispy seaweed. For main course I had beer battered banana blossom fish' and chips. The dish was unbelievable, like no vegan fish I've tasted. Because the portions were large, try as I might I couldnt make room for dessert (though we had some chocolate cake which the team had very kindly made for my friend's birthday After the meal we had a great chat with the head chef, who is clearly so passionate about the dishes he creates. All of the staff, particularly the lovely lady serving our table, made us feel so welcome. I have no doubt I'll be going back again to try everything else on the menu."

we were here before we go veggie and were pleased to find they have a fully vegan menu with gluten-free options. the staff was very helpful and friendly.

this place is a great fund that owners are vegan and this shows in the vegan menu. the staff was nice and helpful and the food delicious, also good value for money. kerosin I will definitely go back to munch our way through the rest of the menu!

amazing the variety of vegan options they have and all gloom and all beer are vegan. they even made tofu fish and chips in addition to the banana blossom fish that prefers on the menu for one of our group. the dishes vary from one pot and curry to burger and hotdogs and vegan baked camembert.

This was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! The waitress showed me how they have vegan options for pretty much every dish on the normal menu and all the desserts were vegan apart from one! Even the chocolate mints you get with the bill were vegan it’s great to see somewhere with so much choice! Even my omni friend I was with loved the vegan dessert. Will definitely be back!!

They have loads of vegan options, it was difficult to decide what to have. In the end I opted for pate followed by stuffed butternut squash with roasted new potatoes and a lovely salad. All freshly prepared and well executed. Portions were huge. As we were celebrating a friend's birthday they also made an amazing chocolate cake which we enjoyed with vegan cream/icecream. The food really was excellent and we were made very welcome.

We went to Godstone Inn for a friend’s birthday meal. The vegan menu was extensive (I think 7 starters, 7 mains, 6 desserts). I had cheese scone with portobello mushroom and tomatoes cooked on the vine as a starter; mushroom, ale and lentil pie with veg, cheesy mash and gravy main. The food was great and portions so large I couldn’t finish the main and skipped dessert! My partner had a vegan prawn cocktail and Thai green curry for main. Our first time there, but will definitely return.

oh my god, I....stop everything and book now in the godstone inn. the vegan menu is simply amazing and .. probably the best vegan pub food I ever had. baked camembert, mushroom pate, garlic bread, freshly baked rolls with vegan butter, banana blossom fish and chips and an amazingly presented lasagne. desserts?. lol took my biscoff cheesecake in a box when I was too full. and the prices are very reasonable. and the cook is so friendly and the waiter very attentive. and they took the effort to decorate the table for mamas 80th, although it was a quite last minute booking on the afternoon for the evening. I'll be back soon.

We visited The Godstone Inn for the first time today, and the food was so amazing! We had complimentary garlic read to keep us going, and the cheesy dipping and mushrooms in creamy sauce, both with bread, to start-incredible flavours! We went for the vegan roast dinners for our mains, one with a nut roast, and the other with a wellington-again, lovely, but SO filling! We probably didn't need the garlic bread! We were pretty stuffed, but shared the double choc pudding/cake, which was tasty. Nothing was too much for the servers, and they made sure we had everything, and that all was ok-they seem like a really lovely family. The only slight downside is the dated decor, but they've only been run...
