The staff were courteous and handled the COVID situation professionally. The sushi was made fresh to order, although there was a bit of a wait, it was definitely worth it. A two-course lunch for under £10.

I recently returned to dining out after several months at home, so I was eagerly looking forward to treating myself today. My big sister first introduced me to this place, and maybe that's why we both had such a great meal. I have not been disappointed here yet. The chili chips, in particular, are delicious! The restaurant had a nice ambiance, but unfortunately, the food was quite dull. I ordered the Ramen and it honestly tasted like they had just put a clove of garlic in boiling water instead of using a proper broth. The beef also lacked flavor and seemed like it had been boiled without any seasoning. The price was high considering the low quality of the food. On a positive note, the staff were excellent.

Carry out. Got home and plated it. Shredded honey roast pork and fried rice, chicken teryaki. Both were grey, bland looking; a rather joyless an unappetising looking pair of dishes. Thats OK if it tastes good. It didn 't. Both dishes were bland. Like a packet rice dish thrown in with some pork or chicken. There was no notion that someone with any cooking skills had been involved. The chicken had the dreaded woody breast (look it up) an awful, fibrous chicken texture. Took both dishes back, got a refund. Not good at all, very disappointing.

I absolutely adore Sumo, as I have been a regular customer for years. Recently, I decided to try their takeaway option and ordered the sushi platter and classic katsu curry. The portions were generous, and I had plenty of leftover curry to enjoy the next day. The sushi was always fresh and delicious, and I appreciate that they offer a takeaway option (although you must collect it yourself, as they do not offer delivery). The restaurant can be quite quiet at times, which may make you feel like you have to speak softly because of the small space. However, this wouldn't deter me from coming back because the food is simply fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Voir le carte
