"I do not recommend this place. Before submitting this review, I gave them a chance to react for our bad experience. I`ve sent few emails to them, messaged on Facebook. They messaged me back that will come back to me as soon as possible, however...it never happened. I am sending them emails since 21.08.22. 1.Before arriving and paying for our booking I was asking the hotel over the phone where our room is going to be located and if there is a sea view. Our room had more “pub view” and little bit of sea view. It was loud after 11pm, drunk people talking and laughing loudly, we came there to relax and were told over the phone that there is not loud. If I knew that it is like it is, I would not book this hotel!!! This was a lie. We could not sleep before these people stopped shouting!!!! 2. The room should be clean (as was in the description), that is why we choose 4-star places (according to the booking.com), however there was a lot of dust as well as the fan, which was completely covered by dust!!! There was not air conditioning in the room, and we should have had a proper fan, however this was unusable. 3. On a breakfast We were toasting the bread, and just before I took a bite spotted that the bread was mouldy. We have asked a lady and she did bring supposedly the fresh one. We could have a food poisoning because of that. I will report it to the ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) and show them more pictures, for example the moulded bread. 4. Most of the times I work from home. I thought that wifi is a standard in the 21st century. Free wifi was included in your advertisement as an amentity. I had to do few important things for work from the hotel and I could not because also there was not a signal for my phone internet as what has service lady said? “Welcome to Cornwall”. 5. Dogs are welcome at this hotel. We took a small yorkie, however We didn`t expect that many dogs in that place. Barking, running everywhere, all over the restaurant, having dogs` hair on a table is too much... If you want to spend a nice time, please avoid this place."

Happened upon this pub walking the coastal path, good pub food with a stunning sea view. Good friendly service. Well recommended.

only past and collapsed. beautiful location. I had a start. really nice. bark meat, was good. I am frustrated with chefs who do everything right and serve frozen bratkartoffels. would have been cracking.

We really enjoyed our visit to this pub during our week in Downderry. The view from the lookout is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and dogs are warmly welcomed. The menu has greatly improved in quality since our last visit in 2020.

My family of five visited this restaurant and had a great meal. The portions were generous and the food was delicious with good presentation. The only downside was the staff, particularly the manager who seemed inexperienced and lacked customer service skills. They seemed lost and unsure of how to handle the restaurant operations. It would benefit from having more experienced staff to guide and train them. Voir le carte

Today, my husband and I enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch at the Inn on the Shore. I had the black and he had the roast beef, both dishes were delicious! The meat was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The decor of the restaurant is tasteful and the view of the sea adds to the overall experience. The staff were lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend the Inn on the Shore to anyone who enjoys good food and a beautiful setting.

What is not to love? A pub with the most amazing sea views from both inside and outside, great menu, lovely food, decent drinks and prices as well as a friendly team on hand to make sure you enjoy your stay. We spent a week...on holiday in the the area and visited this place many times. Our dog Percy was made to feel so welcome by the owner who made a real fuss of him. It’s a firm favourite for us when on holiday, a home from home pub where you can relax and enjoy yourselves. See you later this year Inn On The Shore.

It's been a long time since I visited a B&B that I didn't want to say goodbye to. Me and my wife stayed here for two nights; I only wish it could have been longer! From the views of the sea to the sound of...the waves shushing us gently to sleep, and not to mention the delicious food we had big breakfasts on both mornings and dinner there one evening which was lovely! The only thing I would say is our room was a bit small, but that failed to overshadow our time spent at the Inn on the Shore. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful we'll be back next year! We turned up here very late at night as we had been let down badly with the original property in Looe that we had booked. We needed not to worry as Stacey and the gang made us so welcome on arrival and were mortified when...we explained the situation we had been put in. We had purchased items for the fridge for our original property but Stacey said no problem we will put them in ours for you which was really kind. Everyone was so friendly and we felt really at home. The room we had which was an upgrade (thanks again Stacey) was fantastic with spectacular views and really comfy bed. We would like to thank Stacey and the team again for a great stay some great conversation and for getting us ou...

Popped in for a drink and something to eat… Hmmm… Only gluten free food on the menu was belly pork bites (too fatty for me) Asked if there was anything else.. the staff looked at each other and one said “we could “probably” do fish...and chips! Probably?? I went for a bowl of chips and the rest of the party went for cheese and onion baguettes! The chips were in a bowl the size of a sugar bowl! The baguettes were sour dough so you expect them to be a bit more expensive but £7 for a “tiny” baguette the size of a hot dog roll with a tiny bit of grated cheese and onion in was ridiculous Didn’t take a photo of the chips, but then we didn’t have a macro lens with us! The view was absolutely stunn...

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
