"We were surprised at how tasty everything was. We hadn 't expected much, but it was lovely and we had a corner table inside with a view of the squirrels running to and from the forest which was really nice. We got the bruscetta and the garlic mushrooms to start, and shared. They each came on two bits of yummy toasted bread so it was really easy to share. For the mains which I forgot to photograph!! we got the mushroom stroganoff which was really flavoursome, and the burger which was as can be expected anywhere really. The chunky chips on the side of the burger were AMAZING. We shared the raspberry macallan for dessert which I 'd really recommend. Creamy vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread and delicious fresh raspberry coulis all mixed in a tall sundae glass. We were with my dad and his wife, and they shared the normal raspberry macallan and there were differences in the ice cream and shortbread to feel comfortable that it wasn 't the same dish, but looked pretty much exactly the same. Would get it again!"

Took four dogs with us and had a bite to eat outside, very dog friendly with doggy meals available on the menu.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice to find a complete and separate menu full of vegan/vegetarian options. Vegetable wraps were great you only get 2 tortillas so make sure to load them up.

Absolutely loved it here! They have a separate vegan menu with lots of options. I went for the vegan fajitas which came with loads of veg, guacamole, vegan garlic mayo, salsa and the portion size was huge! I was so thrilled with the food and the staff were great. Voir le carte

Went here twice, we both had very poor food, but decided to give them another chance as they did have a vegan menu. We shouldn't have bothered, we ordered different dishes, but I'd rate them all from average to poor, to put the tin hat on it, they then served us dairy ice cream. They later made amends and gave us a voucher for £50 which we gave to a neighbour.

Called in here on the way north for some food. I've usually been disappointed finding somewhere to eat on a Sunday after 5pm but this place was open so we gave it a shot. Food was delicious (it was a Sunday but we had a full menu to choose from in addition to the Sunday Roast). We had Chicken Balmoral.. chicken breast and haggis with Drambuie sauce cooked perfect.. not too rich but plenty of flavour. Would highly recommend!
