Meistertrunk - Carte

Loved sitting out for lunch on the garden. Had the smoked salmon salad and turkey with apple curry. Both delicious, very pleased with our choices. Shame about the blue sheep in the garden!!

The food here is traditional German and not expensive. Take note: you cannot bill the food/drink to your room. One must pay directly, even though the bill will come through the hotel if you use a credit card.

Nach einigen Tagen Würstchen und Schweinebraten mit brauner " Soß" wollten wir einmal etwas anderes. Hier gab es ein gutes Rumpsteak zu einem fairen Preis. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Außerdem konnten wir in der Weinkarte außer gutem weißen Frankenwein auch roten Wein aus Spanien finden. Voir le carte

Insgesamt ist schon alles okay. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, der Service aufmerksam, die Lage mitten in der Stadt. Es passt alles. Nach langer Wartezeit hat mich mein medium Steak nicht vom Hocker gerissen. Allerdings war auch viel los im Restaurant. Die Karte ist überschaubar, fränkische und internationale Weine, angemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Waren als Familie dort. Der Biergarten ist etwas abgelegen hinter dem Hotel im grünen. Das tut nach dem trubel in der Altstadt sehr gut. Waren mit Einem Kleinkind dort, durch die Grünflche konnte es sich frei bewegen und auch etwas durchschnaufen. Die Karte ist standart deutsch keine grossen Überaschungen. Salat wurde mit zwei verschiedenen Dressings gereicht so konnte jeder selber wählen nach was es ihm war. Ingesamt geringe Menge an Dresssing. Essen kam flott und war in Ordnung.

Quando entri in un Gasthof tedesco e' quasi impossibile prendere delle fregate e mangiare male. Anzi, tra le due, il livello è spesso molto, molto simile tra un posto e l'altro.In questo c'è qualcosa in più : anzitutto un bel,giardino interno dove mangiare con grande tranquillità .Inoltre piatti presentati bene con solida qualità tedesca: ottima la wiener schnitzel così come la rumpsteak. Sempre buone le patate, accompagnate da un piatto a parte di verdura fresca di stagione. A Rothenburg consiglio di venire a mangiare qui. Voir le carte

Wir waren über die Reichsstadttage mit Freunden in Rothenburg unterwegs. Sehr schöne Stadt mit ganz tollem Event. Von Bekannten wussten wir das im Meistertrunk ein schöner Garten sein soll und man dort recht gut Essen kann. Wie sich herausstellte eine sehr gute Empfehlung! Das Essen war wirklich super und kam obwohl der Garten voll war schneller als wir erwartet hatten. Die Preise waren vernünftig und der Qualität angemessen. Leider nicht überall der Fall. Unser Kellner war sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Danke Denislav für den netten Service! Wir werden beim nächsten Trip nach Rothenburg wohl wieder vorbei schauen.

My wife and I visited last year the restaurant where we had a good experience with a very courteous waitress who served a nice meal with good wine.We visited last month the place because of the wonderful experience last year when we came back to the city.It was easy to find table in the patio with a view of the garden with the blue sheep and rear entrance. There was not the same atmosphere as last year.The meal was a "Steak Meistertrunk" with accessories and additional bottle of red wine from Italy "Giobatta Sangiovese."Steaken was dry and chewy like accompaniments were uninteresting. What a nice change from the outside cafes we've been going to. This is a 14 room hotel that is located in the old town (but a few blocks away from the main square) and absolutely lovely. The lobby as you come in is quite eclectic with a piano, a merry go round style colorful horse, lots of natural wood pillars, etc. the restaurant has a bit of class about it and has cute little German style chairs and booths that are covered with blue and white fabric and charming old style chandeliers. Service was friendlier than we've had during this whole trip and the meal was fabulous. We had the garlic scampi in a arugula salad which was an appetizer but big enough for a meal and the cordon blue was one... Voir le carte
