"I came down from Arthur's Seat completely winded and picked a restaurant at random by looking for Scottish cuisine. The day prior had been my birthday but I was traveling all day and didn't get to enjoy it. The staff was lovely and when I left the food and wine up to the hostess/owner kept bringing hit after hit. I was seated right before a fully booked dinner rush but the service was not lacking despite the hurry."

The food is 100/100, the quality of the ingredients and the detail being put to the food is amazing. The only room for improvement is the service: the staff are attentive and friendly, however they explain the ingredients super fast and drop food on the table multiple times when collecting plates, which feels a bit casual and unprofessional. Overall this restaurant is definitely a gem worth visiting again!

I went here for dinner yesterday and had a wonderful evening. We reserved a little while ago, but that was made very easy to do. The space is intimate and has a very nice ambience. We had the vegetarian tasting menu it was delicious, varied, and engaging. The wait staff were pleasant and helpful throughout. A highlight was the amuse bouche, and the frozen chocolate cake desert. Highly reccomend a meal here.
