"Great pub. Pre booked in advance in the casual dining section which is dog friendly. Really nice decor in inside. You order up at the bar. Great selection of drinks. Service was great and food was nice. Desert was definitely the best course, I had the eton mess and it was one of the nicest I've ever had. There's also a dog menu. Plenty of parking and easy to get too just off the motorway."

Early evening weekday meal with the family, fantastic food (Huge portions!! and Alex our server couldn't do enough. Mini pud with coffee was huge, highly recommended the House burger and pie of the day.

Large family group are always a nightmare for service staff especially when you have to deal with children…. Jess was amazing dealing with our complex order and picky children… she was amazing… the food was excellent and the whole place was “buzzing”. Thank you

We had a lovely family meal on Sunday at The Stretton Fox. It’s not always easy to relax when dining with a toddler but we felt welcomed and Holly, our server, went the extra mile to interact with Freddie. Great food, lovely setting but Holly’s friendly and happy attitude made the experience!

Really nice and cosy pub, which I have visited many times over the past 5 years or more, but the service in the pub area is just shocking every time. The restaurant seems to take priority, so it takes ages to get served for drinks or bar food. The place just seems chaotic and totally under staffed.

Went today after work. Had 2 chicken burgers and a pint each 2 of us 42 quid wow!!!!!! Possitives first. Tasty and hot Negatives. Tiny portion, the chips come in a tiny clay pot. I took a picture to show you but it won't allow me to attach sadly. No salad, garnish or anything, it really was like children's portions. And price is astounding for such poor standards. Make your own mind up.
