Great lunch in quiet rural setting. Generous portions, selection of beers, dog friendly. Would definitely go again

Had Sunday lunch here after a walk. The food was very good, can’t fault it. I do feel that there are a few too many tables but they were doing a roaring trade. The staff were lovely too.

The prawn baguette was excellent. Really big prawns and juicy!. The brie, bcon and cranberry baguette my other half had was also very nice. Good beer. Freindly staff, Nice sunny day. Whats not to like ? Voir le carte

Went for our Christmas Family meal. What a fantastic place The Ship is. From first stepping into the bar til leaving everything was perfect. Food, surroundings, staff and atmosphere top class. We will see you soon. Happy Christmas.

A big thank you to the staff at The Ship for providing a fantastic buffet for my mother's funeral. The food was not your typical buffet - everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We are truly grateful for making what could have been a tough day run so smoothly.

Booked table in advance for Friday evening, at 7.30 pm were told the main dauphinoir potatoes the main accompliment with th belly pork had run out so the substitute was chips? Or mash?. Had to wait 45mins between starter and mains. Pretty poor when your restaurant was full, Voir le carte

The staff at Meg's restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. It's a lovely pub in the village that they take great care of. We made a reservation for Friday night and had a wonderful experience once again. The food and drinks were plentiful and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning soon.

This is our go-to pub and we frequent it often. We have never had a negative meal or experience here. Whether we come as a couple, with friends, or to celebrate special occasions like birthdays and Christmas, Meg and her team always provide exceptional service. The menu offers a wide selection of delicious options, making it difficult to choose just one. We always receive top-notch service and the food is consistently excellent.
