"Stayed overnight with dinner and breakfast the following morning. Lovely friendly welcome on arrival and a fabulously quirky room in the roof space. Dinner was delicious as was the accompanying beer and wine. The following morning and it would have been rude not to have the full English. Another delicious meal and set us up for the day. Chef and Mrs Chef run a great pub/restaurant with rooms. Why stay in a boring modern box when there is somewhere like this to stay."

Brilliant food. Very authentic and tasted great. Good selection of tapas and brilliant offers. Staff were attentive but not over bearing. We will definitely visit again if we stay on Chester again.

Spent my anniversary at Blue Bell and it was absolutely delightful. Had a selection of tapas gorgeous food, very flavoursome. Sangria was the perfect compliment to go with it. Their desserts were absolutely brilliant too both in display and taste!

Four of us shared nine tapas dishes and it was plenty for us. The food was delicious and flavorful, and the wine and service were excellent. We will definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend this restaurant. It offers great value for the money.

I have visited this restaurant many times and it has always been excellent. My favorite dish is the chorizo, but this time, it was not as good. It seemed like someone had used too much chilli oil, causing it to lose its savory sweetness and background warmth, and instead becoming overly hot and spicy. However, all other dishes were fine.
