The restaurant offers delicious homemade pub food from a diverse menu. We particularly enjoyed the locally made pies. They also have a great variety of beers and the staff was very friendly.

I absolutely loved the food and the friendly atmosphere at this restaurant. I will definitely be returning. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Steak and Real Chips, Chocolate Brownie, Apple Crumble, and Chicken Curry with Rice and Chips. Voir le carte

Just the place for a family get together, it quiet and the area we were in didn 't have sports screens all over the place. Staff are friendly and efficient, locals seated around the bar tend to hog the serving area. But I suppose they are the , 'bread and butter ' of the pub. This charming pub provided a warm welcome and took excellent care of our large party of 18 on two separate occasions within two days. They were very accommodating when we arrived unannounced on Saturday evening, and the food was outstanding. The Sunday lunch, served in a huge Yorkshire pudding, was also fantastic. The price per person was between £10-20 and the food quality was rated a 5 out of 5.

Shared a lovely meal here with my friend. Hadn't been here for years we were not disappointed. Booked online had quick reply, staff friendly welcoming, very cosy pub atmosphere, everyone was having a good time, very nice that dogs are allowed in they were very well behaved. I had chicken curry with rice nan could of had chips, or half rice half chips, which was a nice choice) the curry was full of flavours not dry at all as some can be, rice was very fluffy light. my friend had sausage, veg giant Yorkie, choice of mash or chips, she had chips, it was a very large portion, we both enjoyed our meals.
