what was for a sound of the plow, great eating and great portions, we had a great time and the staff are beautiful.

Had the main salt pepper chicken rice and curry. Presented lovely flavours were delicious. Welcoming staff best food I had in a very long time.

Absolutely fantastic, the meal and the service were brilliant, i had the Salt Pepper chicken and it was lovely, the two young ladies that served us could not do enough for us and made us feel very welcome, we will definitely be back

My partner and I came here for drinks and a meal, and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The food was incredible—I had the brie and the Vogelburger, and it was top-notch. I visited for the first time and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and my friend and I were seated at a lovely table. The waitresses were attentive and polite. The atmosphere of the pub is nice and relaxed, and the food was really good. The carvery looked excellent, but I opted for the fish and chips, which were delicious and well-prepared. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we weren't left feeling hungry. The prices were reasonable too. I definitely recommend a visit!

Seven of us arrived at 5:30 PM on Tuesday. We placed our orders, and although the restaurant wasn't busy, most of our meals arrived fairly quickly except for one, which I suspect was forgotten. Three of us ordered the salt and pepper chicken, priced at £16.50, which I found to be quite expensive. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement—the rice was so clumped together that we had to slice it apart. The chicken was just okay, and the chips were also average, but for £16.50, I expected much better quality. The atmosphere was a bit chilly, and perhaps that was due to it being a quiet Monday night, which may have affected the heating. However, the staff was lovely. The food was impressive. My aunt and I both started with pâté, while my cousin had halloumi fries, and they were delicious. For my main course, I had salt and pepper chicken, along with roasted rice, chips, and curry sauce, and it was absolutely amazing. I couldn't finish it because the portion was so large. My aunt ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables, which looked beautiful, and she said it tasted wonderful.
