"Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the restaurant's car park was inadequate. The pub was bustling and we struggled to find parking. However, we were seated promptly and our drink order was taken quickly. The menu offered a wide variety of options. Unfortunately, one of the starters we ordered was not available and although an alternative was offered, we declined and it was cancelled. Our main courses arrived 45 minutes after we were seated and were both delicious and generous portions. However, a second order for a starter never arrived. Our server was pleasant but appeared to be under pressure due to the busy and noisy pub environment. Despite the starter issues, we were still charged for both but the charges were removed when we brought it up. I would recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment."

A meeting then lunch for 17 people. An excellent lunch, my sea bass was beautifully cooked and hot. Fresh vegetables in a dish and my fruit salad was also good with lots of fresh fruit. Voir le carte

We had good food here on a Wednesday and Thursday night. Excellent choice, a bit different. The Thursday was a lot busier than the Wednesday, and possibly the most atmosphere I've experienced in any pub post Covid. Also dog friendly and good beers. Thumbs up!

My wife and I ordered steak pie and sirloin steak. We were very disappointed with the size and thickness of the steak, although it was cooked well. It was full of gristle and the hand-cut chips had a strange aftertaste, presumably from using old oil. My wife couldn't finish hers. Voir le carte

I visited as a group of 10 on a Friday night (i was one of the group's local). The place was bust but everyone was served promptly and the quality of quality of the food was excellent (The Pheasant on the specials board was a bargain at under £13). I'll definitely be coming back.

This is a strange pub which looks like bits have been added badly and the outside is really shabby at the back which is a shame as it has the potential to be good in a nice area. I haven’t had the food but others tell me it’s nice so positive… the layout inside is very odd narrow and not cosy except two chairs by the fire .

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
