"We had eaten at this pub/ restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Decided to try a takeaway. It arrived late and missing the rice and mixed starter. Rang and was told they will send it out. Said don’t bother as eating the rest now. Told discount...next time. Ordered again, told an hour. After an hour and half, giving directions, we gave up and rang to cancel. The girl on the phone told me it was my fault for poor directions and she could not do a refund. Common as muck and no customer communication skills. I am a public school boy bought up on a council estate, so when I say common, I know what I am talking about. Won’t be using again, which is a shame, as the food is fine"

First time we have tried the takeaway service and will definitely be back. The Massaman curry and chicken pad Thai was delicious. I would highly recommend the food.

Clean, tidy, covid precautions in place. Great authentic Thai cuisine. My wife said food very good, just like back home. Quite a big menu. Great friendly service. Highly recomended.

My wife have just had lunch here, after a couple of friends independently recommended it. We weren't disappointed. The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. Looking forward to a return visit very soon

We stopped here for a quick pub lunch and were really impressed. Very good selection of pub food and baguettes, etc. with the bonus of Thai food, which was fantastic. One of the best green curries I've ever had, very authentic. Good value and good...service.

excellent thai lunch from the lunch package. fantastic. in these Covid times it was also possible to eat outside in the covered area. very intelligent benches and tables printed with old house logo. also a good selection of standard powder food, burger, fish and chips etc.

We attended a birthday party here last night and it was great. 15 of us had a meal ahead of the celebrations. The food was delicious, tasty and hot which can’t have been easy for such a large group when we picked so many different dishes. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.Great night, thank you

I cook Thai food myself and I am very dissapointed when I eat Thai out, but not here : The meals are prepared with care and authentic flavours ofsouthern Thailand. Its a great mix with a good ol' british pint of ale! Visited on my birthday and was treated to a lovely sweet FOC : I will be definately eating here again to explore the rest of the menu. Plenty of vegetarian options too.

Staff ensure that you check in on the NHS app or give them your details on arrival. All food and drink orders taken at your table of less than 6 and then delivered to you. A marquee or a lovely covered outdoor area has heaters...where you can receive your choice of real ale or weekly changing cocktail- the Aperil Spritz was popular and good value. Other drinks available! The Thai food is fantastic and good value and the menu is extensive. Generally a locals pub but very friendly.

"Visited today for lunch and probably wouldn't rush back although I'm aware there's recently been a change in management so maybe a few teething troubles. Messaged via their Facebook page to book a table, no response. Never was a problem in the past. The pub was very cold with no heating at all so we had to keep our coats on. Several tables near us commented the same and all sat with coats on. The coffee machine was out of order so only instant available, which wasn't pleasant. We waited a long time for someone to come and take our food order, in the end I went and found someone. Two of us wanted the steak ale pie. Only then were we told it wasn't available. The chap said we should've been told when we were given the menus, well it was him that gave them to us! With that he said he'd give us a few minutes to choose something else and walked away. He didn't come back so I had to go and ask to place our order again. At no point did anyone ask if we had any food allergies, which I thought was a requirement these days? The food was really good, credit to the chef; it was well cooked, well presented, large portions and very tasty. We did notice that two other tables waited a very long time for their food and had to chase it up, so glad we ordered when we did. We would have stayed longer and had a dessert but it was so cold we couldn't relax and enjoy it. We were next to radiator and we did ask one of the waiters if it was possible to turn it on and he said he'd see what he could do, which was nothing as it remained stone cold! When our plates were taken we asked for the bill, but it didn't arrive. Eventually a young lady arrived with the card machine and asked us to pay, which we said we'd be delighted to do once we received our bill! When we left we walked past 3 different members of staff, all of whom had waited on our table at some point during our visit. Not one of them made an effort to say thank you or goodbye. There was no warm ambiance or friendly feeling in the pub, it felt cold (literally) and unwelcoming. I also felt that a couple of members of staff waiting on tables looked rather scruffy, none of them wore a logo'd t-shirt which I feel the staff should do as they're representing the pub or brewery. It was difficult to distinguish the staff from the customers!"
