Lovely rural traditional pub serving proper home cooked food and excellent range of beers.

Excellent spot for lunch while visiting the Lavender Line next door. Food was very tasty and staff were lovely. Recommended!

A late morning pint to reacquaint myself with an unusual and welcoming pub next to the Lavender Line. Well-kept beer (Long Man) and good attentive service. A large car park at the back.

Visited for Sunday lunch with family. Food and service was excellent. We were made very welcome by the friendly staff. Every table was reserved so I would definitely book in advance at weekends. Recommend.

We recently visited the restaurant since it changed ownership, and we were pleased to discover that it is just as wonderful as before. The fresh decor, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food (prepared by the same chef as before) were all exceptional. The staff was friendly and we look forward to returning frequently! Popped in here for lunch as we where passing we had gammon and chips which was very good large portion well cooked and very nice the puddings where good but very large . Home made bread and butter pudding very nice the staff good and helpful a nice pub with good food, but pub was a bit cold maybe should have lit the fire but we will be back

This charming pub is located next to the Isfield Lavender Line station and offers a very hospitable atmosphere with friendly staff. It was bustling on a Sunday lunchtime. I tried the homemade Steak and Kidney pie, which was delicious, and the roasts also looked appetizing. They offer a kids menu with generous portions. I enjoyed a half of Long Man Bitter, which was well-poured. Overall, it's a fantastic pub and definitely worth a visit.

We stopped here for lunch and were greated warmly. Sat near a lovely fire. Good pint of Longman best bitter. Our food was okay but not the best. The fish and chips came out and it was obvious it had either been cooked for too long (the batter was dark brown) or the oil needed changing. I had the pie but again it was just okay. I appreciate how tough the pub game is but an improvement to the food would pay real dividends. Based on our experience, we probably wouldn't go back to eat there. Voir le carte
