"By far and quite simply one of the best meals I have had in a long time. My family were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The waiter was first class in taking our orders and his interaction with our young son. The food quite simply was brilliant, each member of my family said there meal was stunning. The deserts as well were top draw, especially the Vanilla Cheesecake with the Amaretto base was one of the best deserts I have had in a very long time. As we have just moved to the area we shall not only go back for another meal, but also make use of the pub next door as they had a fine selection of Italian beers Adnams ales. Thank you so much. "If you wanna go to a restaurant and have the most wonderful experience in your life, you need to go to Chequers of Orwell. The food is above Michelin star quality, surprises me it has no Michelin star yet. The chef David makes magic. I have always enjoyed this place and I go whenever I can. I recommend everybody visiting at least once because writing down is not even near the tasty experience. Ah and did I mention the dessert? The chocolate fondant is something unimaginable... the best dessert I ever had by far. The staff are always prompt to help and are courteous too. The only complaint is the lack of Chequers worldwide! I wish I could eat there everyday of my life."

"We enjoyed a delicious and authentic Thai meal at The White Horse, which is Thai-owned and operated. The fish cakes were incredibly tasty, and my favorite dish was the green curry. The tofu in both my dish and my mom's was perfectly cooked and wonderfully marinated; she had the stir-fry with cashews. It was a fantastic recommendation from my mom, who is a frequent visitor and enjoys bringing guests here. Food and drinks: Excellent. We came just for the meal, not to stay. Service: 4/5. "We visited this restaurant on Sunday for lunch. They are taking the easing of lockdown measures seriously, with temperature checks and other precautions in place. It was wonderful to be able to dine out, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant has an impressive selection of ciders, beers, and wine. They will be starting Sunday lunch service again soon, and based on our experience, we can't wait. The bubble and squeak croquettes were outstanding, and the dirty fries with pulled beef were also delicious. Chef Steve is passionate about foraging, so expect local and interesting ingredients. The restaurant is welcoming to both dogs and children, and the music adds to the fantastic atmosphere. We highly recommend this place!"

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, with high-quality dishes like roast, fish and chips, and burgers. The staff is friendly and the setting is beautiful, especially outside in the summer. The pie filling was a bit too salty, but I believe it was just a one-time mistake. It would be helpful to double-check with the kitchen. There are plenty of vegetarian options available and the staff is accommodating of dietary restrictions. Parking is ample, and the restaurant is kid-friendly with good outdoor seating. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Prices range from £30–40 per person, and the overall experience is rated 5/5 for food, service, and atmosphere. Recommended dishes include the Beef Burger, Hamburger, Fish and Chips, Cauliflower Cheese, Fries, Lamb Meatballs, Steak Night, Roast Beef, and Rump of Lamb."
