The Dog Inn - Carte

This restaurant is a complete scam. The owners are extremely arrogant, especially the woman who gives off an air of superiority and looks down on customers. She acts as if she is better than everyone else.

Accommodation booking cancelled with no reason given and phone numbers didn't work. Evebtually told this pub has been taken over and cancellation beyond their control. Have found another place now and looking at recent reviews seems we dodged a bullet.

Had a lovely lunch here, the wine was good and there was a good choice. The soup was lovely, the steak Canadian would have benefited from asking how you would like it cooked as it came medium rare, other half didn’t mind, but I wouldn’t have been able to eat it. Voir le carte

I paid in advance for my accommodation, which was non-refundable. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the accommodation was no longer available. It seems that I am not the only one who has experienced this poor treatment, as evidenced by a review in April 2024.

Really worried that something has changed for the worse, food was average to say the least, scampi chips seemed to be fried in old burnt flavoured oil. Service was very slow...such a massive shame as we loved going here. What's changed??? Please bring back the old Dog Inn.

We came to longridge for a birthday weekend away.We we’re given a 1 bedroom apartment.Room number 3.It was amazing.Could of stayed longer.Dog inn is v close to shops and bar of longridge.Staff ever so friendly.We ate in restaurant bar.The food was cooked to a great standard.We will definitely be returning. We had a table booked at 1pm, by which time some of their main dishes had sold out. We then waited an hour for our order to arrive and the food was terrible. The beer battered haddock was clearly fish in breadcrumbs straight from the freezer, burnt in a deep fat fryer. The burger was greasy and the steak and ale pie was more gravy than anything else. The only highlight was the number of visiting dogs!

After taking a walk, we decided to stop by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of dishes and affordable prices. We were able to sit outside on the patio, enjoying the sunshine and a beautiful view of the Ribble valley. The chicken skewers and chicken burger we ordered came with a delicious salad and crispy chips. The portions were generous and the food tasted great. The service was friendly and welcoming, and we definitely plan to dine here again in the future.

This is a poor place. Service is horrific, and the staff make up blatant lies lol. I review food as a bit of a laugh on TIk tok and i reviwed this a 3/10 which was generous. Then one of their supervisors who must be about 12 becuase i saw no one there older than a teenager said i was loud and homophobic what a load of absolute waffle, i was dining with my mrs and she has a sister who is a homosexual so she 'd hammer me if i said anything like that. So this is just pure deflection and proper nonsense. wouldnt usually slam a place on google but thats deserved. clowns. Voir le carte
