"The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely stunning! The lamb melted in my mouth, and the attention to detail, combined with the fuss-free service, was remarkable. I can’t rave about it enough—it was flawless. There were some long pauses between courses, but that seemed intentional, perhaps to allow the younger guests to step out for a moment or to tend to the little ones. Everything flowed perfectly! We later moved to the next set of selections, with everyone sharing what they wanted in a relaxed manner. Having worked as a wedding waitress myself, I can say I’ve never experienced anything like this before—it felt truly magical! The evening continued with a wonderful atmosphere, featuring dancing, a cabaret act, and a lovely rustic buffet that matched the theme of the day. Fantastic job! Thank you so much—it was a million times appreciated!"

The best burger I've ever tasted! The atmosphere was charming, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were a group of seven, and everyone loved their meal.

Excellent food. Very tasty. Took about 30-40 minutes which is acceptable wait for good food. Pleasant service from the staff. Now going to try the dessert menu.

Lovely old building, large outside garden area, great staff, lots of parking. Didn't eat there so I can't comment, but the menu looked good. The only annoying thing (and not the pub's fault) is the junction to the main road nearby. It's near impossible to pull out as it's so busy in both directions!

Great venue. Set in the countryside away from all the distractions. Lovely food- portions on the small side. Cosy log burners to keep you warm. Beware no WiFi and the network reception is very poor which is why I have given it 4 out of 5 stars. If you need that break from your phone though its a good venue. Voir le carte

I took my mother to The Bull on Saturday night, and it was our first visit to this pub. We had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations for our meal. We will definitely be returning and will bring our friends along next time!

My first visit, post pandemic, on a venue that was regularly patronised especially when returning from a trip along the M4. Also it was on the Cask Marque Ale Trail not that the staff seemed to know much about it. The ale offerings were unimaginative, but in noble condition, well deserving the Accreditation Certificate awarded (even though this was nowhere to be found) And neither was the Cask Marque plaque, that should have blazed with supreme confidence outside the main entrance. Those seeking a decent pint though, can sup here with confidence. What I also noticed, quite a few quid has been spent in the beer garden there's been a serious tlc programme done and the large Berber tent (becomi...

"Went for an impromptu meal with her indoors, as this was a local pub we've not been in for a long time we thought will pop in. Greeted by an over enthusiastic bar person who was dragging out the empties from the night before, ordered a couple of drinks and we sat down with the menu's, after perusing the menu we were ready to order, at the same time we were ready a regular couple walked in and sat at there regular table and oredered there regular meal, but the regular gentleman actually wanted an extra sausage with his sausage and chips, well! The kerfuffle this caused was astronomical, this conversation went on for Many many minutes, my wife and I was desperately trying to catch her attention to have another drink, eventually my wife went to the bar and waited, we got served eventually. Then our food came out of the kitchen, we went for the light bites as we were in a snacky mood, Chicken strips Mozzarella bites Chips with curry sauce and nachos. We never got the nachos as there was no guacamole BTW Chips came out which were actually fries, covered in this sauce, gross, then we had 3 chicken strips with no garnish £4.95 £1.63 each Then 4 mozzarella bites came out, no, nothing else just 4 mozzarella bites, £4.95 £1.24 each. So if you want have your pants pulled down and be robbed of your hard earned cash then this is the place to go, as for me and my wife we won't be. We did mention the poor quality and value for money but it was brushed under the dirty carpet and she was going to feed our comments back to the kitchen."
