The Beach House Cafe

Great for breakfast with plenty of choice and fantastic tasting dishes. Brilliant sea view and excellent coffee. I will definitely be back.

For your typical sit outside basic cafe it does it very well. Stopped for a drinks break and whilst there were only a few outside tables they are well spaced and did not feel threatened because of the covid 19 situation .

Horrible staff attitude with no warmth when youve just got up for a happy breakfast, I had 2 portions of beans on toast for £10.50 which I thought was beyond a joke for paper plates and the cheapest tasting beans possible Would defiantly not go back Voir le carte

the beach house cafe is a fabulous place for vegan and vegetarian breakfasts, their shakshukas are amazing. my favorite at the moment is the banana blossom ‘fish and chips’ it is so delicious, the only place in lyme that serves it. native love this friendly caffe.

we visited today and I was impressed by the vegan shischuka it was delicious. the caffe was well furnished for Kovid restrictions and the owner explained that it was in the more vegan options, but they had to simplify the menu due to the restrictions. I would have got 5 stars, but the side doesn't leave me.

Don’t be put off by the tired exterior the food is excellent and a bit of variety with some additional top notch Moroccan choices on top of traditional cafe selection. My shakshuka was full of flavour and freshly made. Kids had a good choice and the local burger was big and juicy. Another of our family had a filling chicken salad and another a filling egg and bacon baguette. A very good alternate to the pricey crowded fish and chip shops Voir le carte

wonderful location on the seaton beach with panoramic views of the sea, best viewed from the recommended restaurant booking. we ate here twice in our weeks. separate vegan menu top and personal on what is and is not vegan. cauliflower starter delicious. really enjoyed skewer and cocosnuß pannacotta (without gelatine) also. burger was okay. in the ground floor pizza is not sure whether they have vegan options there. I couldn't see any vegan dishes in the cafe cup.

I've been a regular and satisfied customer at the Beach House Cafe for many years.I've always found a wonderful West Country welcome and enjoyable and well served food both before and since Covid19 arrived.I find the arrangements now with disposable crockery and cutlery very safe and appropriateThe tables and chairs outside are arranged so well that social distancing appears as normal as before Covid and effectiveThe ordering and food collection system is clever too Simple, but it worksWell done

Eating out can be difficult as we have a mix of tastes within our family but, this cafe hit the spot.It's unfortunate they can only operate outside at the moment but, we had one meal at there cheerful red tables, and also take away to our beach chairs. Both were excellent. The shackshuka was very good, but the vegan and vegetarian ones. In fact we had them twice!The full breakfast was a full one! Sausage was excellent and tasty bacon.We also had some fresh scones to take home and again were very pleased. We thought the quility of the paper plates were good, not flimsy so held up well. The shackshuka came in frying pans which we returned!Looking forward to another visit soon Voir le carte
