Excellent avocado and feta cheese on chilli bread. Highly recommended. Good coffee too. Sit outside and enjoy the views.

This place is bonkers, quirky, fun and delicious-so nice to eat somewhere not a chain and the food was fantastic. The chef is bonkers as was the gentleman serving. Not speedy but amazing views. The shaksuka is delicious as was the breakfast

Has potential to be a great cafe, but extremely aggy staff! I don’t enjoy going out for breakfast and being shouted out for their mistake. Missing items of food on the (not so) mega monty and then scrutinised for bringing it to their attention. Voir le carte

The Beach House Cafe is a fabulous place for vegan and vegetarian breakfasts, their shakshukas are amazing. My favourite at the moment is the Banana Blossom ‘fish and chips’ it is so delicious, the only place in Lyme that serves it. Locals love this friendly cafe.

I always visit this cafe as its the most wonderful cafe within lyme regis. Perfect selection of cakes inside and a brilliant menu suited to everyone; Lots of options for vegetarians and vegans along side your classic fish and chips and other meals containing meat.

We visited today and I was impressed with the vegan shashuka it was delicious. The cafe was well set up for covid restrictions and the proprietor explained that there would usually be more vegan options but they had needed to simplify the menu due to the restrictions. Gorgeous position on Seaton beach with panoramic views of the sea, best viewed from the upstairs restaurant booking recommended. We ate here twice in our weeks stay. Separate vegan menu upstairs and staff knowledgeable on what is and isn't vegan. Cauliflower starter delicious. Really enjoyed skewers and coconut pannacotta (made without gelatine) too. Burger was ok. Downstairs is pizza not sure if they have any vegan options there. Couldn't see any vegan dishes at cafe takeout either.

We have many times walked along the Lyme Regis front, and not really noticed this little café. Well, I'm very glad we went in and had a wonderful, beautifully cooked and presented brekkie. The fried eggs were perfection, the fried bread was so tasty and just crisp enough to be perfect. I'm not normally fond of sausages in cafes, but this one was exceptionally tasty and again cooked thoroughly but not over done. The mushrooms? Very, very tasty. Just perfect. Thank you very much. In addition to this, because they had just taken a big order, I asked how long breakfast would take if we ordered. About 12 minutes I was told. Firstly I was greeted with an abrupt “what do you want?” I then ordered and I have never had someone be so rude just listening to an order. The lady then gave me my tea (which tasted like water). My friend then ordered and the woman started waving her hands in her face because she was distracted. The lady threw the spoon with the order number down in front of her. My other friend then ordered and wanted an extra hash brown with her fry up and asked for no mushrooms, and was told she wasn’t allowed to make this many changes at the weekend.
