Patronising arrogant owner serves highly over priced pub grub to her audience she likes to hold court over customers. Grubby scratched glasses predominate as well as badly washed cutlery. Watch out for huge mark up on not great wines. Much better within 10 mins walk. Avoid. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A really special place with excellent food, particularly fish, and great service. Amazing view out over the boat float and river. We were given the table in the large bay window which made our visit extra special. I'd recommend this place for any special occasion. If you're lucky you might even spot a local celeb dining there. Taylor’s is a comparatively small, first floor restaurant accessed by stairs. It has a pleasant atmosphere with attentive staff and a fine menu. We had rib eye steak and sea bass and both of us thought our dishes were very good. The wine list has a good choice of red, white and sparkling. Every aspect of this restaurant was exceptional, from the exquisite food to the attentive service and the inviting atmosphere. An unforgettable evening!

The restaurant is overpriced, with an excessive markup on wine. The owner, who also serves as a waitress, is overbearing and responds sarcastically to simple inquiries. There was a dramatic scene when we arrived just seven minutes late. The owner seems to have an inflated sense of superiority. The restaurant takes Covid safety measures seriously, with hand sanitiser and temperature checks upon entry, as well as screens between tables. Despite these precautions, the atmosphere was still pleasant and the service was exceptional. The food, particularly the fish appetizer and steak/duck main dishes, was delicious and portion sizes were just right. While on the pricier side, it is worth it for a special treat as you definitely receive value for what you pay for. Voir le carte
