"Aw I'm a little sad to see a 3 star overall rating for Spreegold. We were here for brunch in June 2017. If you're looking for fresh, quasi-farm-to-table (because I'm not really sure if it's locally sourced), and wholesome food, Spreegold is your spot. I was totally a fan of their home-made pasta and the boyfriend seemed to have enjoyed his paleo omelette. The menu can be a bit overwhelming... it's HUGE! Everything sounded delicious, so narrowing down my options was definitely a challenge. Luckily, the lovely girl taking our order was very friendly and patient. Oh, and the portions are huge too.Nice space. Kind of has a hipster vibe. Would totally fit in in San Francisco. The only slight downside is that it is a bit on the pricier end. However, I guess when you’re used to California prices, it’s pretty standard."

An early start and a busy day we needed to have a coffee and piece of cake. A testing display and tasty cakes, worth stopping by.

Delicious food and very nice rooftop garden with good overview. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. For the light dinner I recommend white tomato soup and cheese salad.

Again here. They do serve great omelets but this time i ate porriage of gods and it was something else. Prices are on a higher end but quality of food is great. Some improvement in service would help.

We ate breakfast here a couple of mornings during our stay. Our Hotel was just across the road. The pancakes,bacon and maple syrup were excellent. The Americano coffee was not bad. All the staff we came in contact with spoke excellent English.

The place was great for brunch.We had 2 omelettes, greek, and 3 waffles (with nougat and with fruits). All the food was tasty, the omelettes huge (could not finish), ingredients seemed fresh.The coffe was very good, as well.In terms of price, the things above + water cost 38 euro.

On our last day in Berlin we visited this cafe for brunch after hearing rave reviews from a friend & were not disappointed. There are some great healthy options as well unusual choices for pancakes (pictured were the fruit ones). Although a little pricey for Berlin, it would be probably 4x that in London, so I was really pleased.

Disappointed. Flat white was a milky latte. Had smoked salmon stack. The bread wasn't toasted and suspect it was stale ciabatta. Salad drenched in dressing which affected the flavours. The poached egg was cooked well and it looked pretty. If you think that's vfm at 9 euros you'ld be nuts! If you like your brunch turn around and head back to alexanderplatz before its too late, you have been warned!

Came here with my son and it was great to sit outside so close to Alexanderplatz with a lot less hustle and bustle.The service was excellent and so was the Berliner Pils beer that was recommended.I ordered the Mushroom pasta & Steak chops and the ingredients were superb, the steak cooked to perfection, the sad fact the pasta was lukewarm. I didn't say anything as I was very hungry as I'd just arrived in Berlin and it was still excellent food, just needed to be hot.My son had the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger which was excellent, the sides were very tasty and healthy also.
