In every aspect this is a top notch brassie in a fabulous location. Great staff, service and lovely food. Decent selection of wines too

A real gem in the area! Here I felt the prices were better than in London for MUCH better quality food. I will definitely be back again soon.

Overall, we had a good lunch at the Roux Skindles location. However, our main course of venison was not acceptable! Slightly tough and although we pointed this out to the staff, no one was interested in changing it or alternatively refunding, some of the cost. So it was a disappointment. Our visit did not disappoint! From our welcome, on arrival, to our departure this was a fabulous choice of venue for the four of us. Amazing food, very friendly and efficient staff, great ambience, service and beautiful decor/surroundings. Can’t wait to go back, just a shame it’s two hours’ drive (on a good day). The goats cheese soufflé with tomato coulis was to die for and all the other food was superb. Nothing less than I had expected having been to The Waterside Inn further along the Thames, but sometimes expectations can be too high.. Happy days

Having been a few times to the Waterside and le Gavroche (and Maidenhead’s Fat Duck and Hind’s Head) we just had to sample Skindles for our Christmas lunch. Everyone and everything were five star. Cocktails first in the cocktail bar, courtesy of Oli, on the first floor, then downstairs for our lunch. Elodie took our booking on the phone and greeted us when we arrived, then Joe and Stefano looked after us at the table, with Antonio serving me a fantastic Old Fashioned. We had to go thank head chef Ricardo as every mouthful was absolutely delicious. Having a teen daughter on hand to give us a lift there and back was the icing on the cake

We are regular visitors to the Roux Brasseries at Skindles and we always receive a very warm reception. The quality of the food is always exceptional, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the service is exquisite. All the staff, from the manager to chefs and waiters are so friendly and efficient and we have always been made to feel very welcome. We went out to other side of the river last night and the Skindles Christmas lights really light up the river so beautiful and inviting! We stepped into the upstairs cocktails bar and I ordered a glass of Champagne Cocktail; Paolo is master with the cocktails and he made it to a perfection! My husband had his favourite Skindles hot dog with wine.... Voir le carte
