"During our trip to Kaiserslautern last week (brother with him, he once again fled from our home town of Düsseldorf to a country to a sister, we were looking for a “smallness” to eat. Some restaurants were already closed almost 14.30 h. So that it won't be later, we rushed to the next best opportunity. The HA LONG is located directly on the Pedestrian Square. Parking is therefore not possible in the immediate vicinity, even the HA LONG is not suitable for disabled persons. From the outside very graceful for snacks, I very skeptical, the guys were already in. Service: I asked at the sales counter whether we had to order there. The Lord pointed to the free tables and said we can order at the table. We took place, the food and drinks cards are ready at the table. A friendly co-worker accepted the drinks requests and made us look even further. The choice really wasn't easy. Appetizers, sushi (also vegan, noodle and rice dishes (beef, pig, poultry, fish, a large vegetarian and vegan selection). The order was received and served quickly the two main dishes of the gentlemen and my appetizer. Since only one appetizer was ordered, this was probably not registered by the service or the kitchen. I don't blame this. The restaurant filled itself and the service had much to do. Nevertheless friendly and attentive. Food and drink: 1 Pils, 0.3 l, € 2,20 1 mineral water, 0.4 l, € 2,30 1 lift, 0.4 l, € 2,50 I chose the fresh spring roll to € 2,50 as an appetizer. I expected a classic fried spring roll and was somewhat amazed to get a cold roll, known as Summer Roll, served. If I had read the ingredients on the map (seed, soy sprouts, carrots, tofu consciously, I would have noticed. I've always wanted to try a Summer Roll, so everything's great! In the transparent rice leaf beautifully decorated with freshly sprinkled carrots and glass noodles. Sweet sour chilisauce. The role would have been perfect... but: Fresh coriander was involved. No good development for my taste buds! Koriander is the only herb I really don't like. I can eat coriander, yes. But without it, it would have been better for me. This is not negative. My brother opted for a little bite from the Sushi card: 18 Maki (Gurke, Lachs, tuna to € 8.30. My husband chose a sushi plate with 4 nigiris (thunfish, salmon, squid, shrimp and 12 maki (Gurke and salmon at € 11.50. The gentlemen were very happy. Both plates beautifully dressed and the ingredients very fresh, the rice used significantly better than recently in a restaurant in Deidesheim. Only the Wasabi corresponded to the execution “for German soft eggs” (I was allowed to try of course! We had never had such mild wasabi, here really lacked the pepp. There was also a Majonaise, but you don't need it. My main dish was then served later. Fried Tofu Kung Bao Art (sharf to € 6.50. Hot on a beautiful plate the good portion was served. Here again “sharf” for beginners. For me pleasantly spicy, much crisp vegetables. The tofu, unfortunately, is of a very tasty type, yet very tasty. There's a rice turm. I was very happy with my choice. Ambience and cleanliness: The Asian setup with many colorful effects and typical decoration. The selection boards at the pick-up snack station are illuminated colorfully. Comfortable padded chairs and benches. The tables with clean tablecloths. Behind the counter is the view to the kitchen free. At least 3 employees were shown here when preparing fresh food. With headgear and gloves. Everything made a really good impression. Only the toilets in 1. Upstairs something came in the years. This is often attributed to the owner. But everything is clean. Paper towels were unfortunately out, and the powder hand dryer was lung-sick. I'd still stand there with the lukewarm little one, my jeans were more helpful! Conclusion: 4 happy again! (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to kitchen trip ."
