"First, we didn't want to go in because of the bad evaluation. but because no other restaurant had a free table, we dared the experiment... And we were glad we made it! The view from the Rur River terrace was sensational. We had a rag steak with the famous Monschau Senfsauce and a brown trout from the Eifel. The meat was juicy, perfectly medium-fried and the fish was fresh and seasoned in German tradition. Despite the stress, the service was fast and friendly. But you can say that they were spoken very briefly with one. But that was not a miracle with 16 full tables and only 3 waiters. The two of us paid about 50 € for two main courses and alcoholic drinks, which I think is very suitable for the delicious food. I think everyone should have their own experience. If you ask me, I would not have any reservations to recommend a visit to this restaurant."

We have been eating here two Times. The first time it was the Special menu of the day: really value for money! The second day we enjoyed the chef's Special: Rumpsteak Lütticher Hof. It was really good! Very friendly staff, always ready to help

We decided to have dinner here since they have first harvested fresh white asparagus and the food weren't disappointing us! The schnitzel with white asparagus in hollandaise sauce was nicely cooked and even my 20 month old son enjoyed the asparagus soup. The service was friendly and nice.

We fought with the menu, although it was in English, but were from a German couple close to us we sat we enjoyed the food, the well cooked Sirloin Steak with pepper sauce pork pruning Fries, followed by pastry cream fruit an apple swirl. The waitress was friendly and very entertaining in a Fawlty Toers way. Terrace overlooking the river is very beautiful.

The owner of the restaurant is very nice and very helpful. This has nothing to do with food, but we forgot the scooter of my daughter in Monschau near the Liège court and although we don't know each other after contacting him, he went there and found it. he then gave it to the lost and found that was then delivered to our address. He made a child more than happy. Thank you, Mr Vecqueray.

When visiting the small town of Monschau with friends we had a start in this restaurant. I took the grilled pork steak in Senf sauce “Monschau” with potatoes and salad. And it was very good. For dessert, I wanted to taste the Monschauer Dütchen with vanilla ice cream with fruit and cream. And it was delicious. We were a group of 30 people and the service was a bit too long (I wait over 45 minutes after ordering my plate).

We decided to have dinner here as our first choice was closed. We had a lovely time. It was a balmy evening so most people were seated on the terrace. The terrace has a fab view down the river. The service was very friendly and we had a laugh or two with the wait staff when it started to rain and they had to put the roof cover over. We chose traditional German meals, mine was Schnitzel with pfilinger mushrooms in a delicious sauce. Would eat here again

The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area at the back side, overlooking the tiver Rur and part of the old town. In fact, this was the main reason why we wanted to try this place for a late lunch/early dinner. But the rest was a bit disappointing. Food was in one word 'moderate ', even poor if I compare it to other restaurants. Prices are slightly highter than average. The terrace at the back side is nice for a drink. But If you are looking for a place to eat, there are lots of better options in Monschau,
