Had a birthday today and we have eaten excellently, I can only recommend. The service was super nice and attentive. I'd rather have given more stars. If we move from the Lower Rhine to Monschau, we'll be happy to come back. Thank you.

Not recommended if you would like to be served kindly. In this inconsistent atmosphere, one gets like an interference factor before and in the rear corner one of the place is assigned. It is said from the outset that it will take a long time with food. That's not what's going on!

We were there on Saturday with the family (10 weeks and 3 kilos). It has been all right, the service was very nice and friendly, especially towards children, the food was excellent, tasty and lovingly served, the portions were sufficient, the price ratio appropriate. Unusually good kitchen, but of three women who were eating here, two with dark skin color were initially treated very declining. Regional produce such as the old breed of pigs held and processed here in the open-air museum are of rare excellent quality. Do not exceed authentic hospitality. Had luck without reservation and get the last table. Also via the menu is clearly signalled, we are somewhat different. Instead of almost everywhere usual schnitzel, Rumpsteak and pizza variations, you can also find delicious dishes outside the mainstream. And yes, the greeting from the kitchen was very delicious.We come back, then with reservation.

Übersichtliche Karte (spricht aber meist - und so auch hier - für gute Qualität). Das Essen war wirklich sehr schmackhaft und der Service auch super nett. Unbedingt die Senfsauce probieren!! Preise schon etwas höher aber grundsätzlich gerechtfertigt. Allerdings hat die Änderung der Beilage von Pommes auf Spätzle oder Bratkartoffeln mit 3€ zu bepreisen schon einen bitteren Beigeschmack - vielleicht gibt es da mal eine bessere Lösung?Auch das Ambiente dürfte für mein Empfinden mal etwas moderner werden. Fühlte mich ein bisschen wie bei Oma in der Stube früher. Bei den Toiletten wurde bereits super renoviert! Voir le carte
