"Me and my boyfriend chose this place for our Valentines meal. This restaurant was outstanding, it’s in a gorgeous place and the food was amazing. It’s the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time! The waiters did seriously seem understaffed and I feel bad for them but when I got told one of them was the owner I was so surprised, she was absolutely lovely bless her, clearly doing everything! It started to get a bit busy towards 8pm and some of the prices don’t match up from the website, but they were a few pounds cheaper in the end. Will definitely be coming here again! I loved it!"

Second time here and first time lovely food second time the food wasn't on par I had a special of the board cod was dry and my friends Salmon encroute was not the best put us off going again as we paid 160 for 4 of us but left disappointed.

I have been several times. This time, the service was not great. The time before it was slow. This time, it was like a stand still. One waitress did her best to keep the staff focused. She wore a black shirt. There was a young lad who served well with an upbeat attitude, apologies, and a good smile. I would go again. However, if it was as slow as this time, it would be my last time.

Very poor customer service, I've visited that place yesterday with 2 friends (2 non UK and one British person) we asked for a large table as was planning to stay for a meal, table was there but we've been told to take tiny one next to bar, funnily enough next 3 persons which turn up same time get that large table straight away without any reservation etc. Staff played dummy saying they don't know is that table was available or not?? It's a decent place but if you not local than you may expect totally different treatment than locals.

We visit here quite often and have left many good reviews on tripadvisor over the years. But the last 3 visits the food hasn't been up to the usual standard. the meat has been tough the last 3 times, but the rest of the food has been good. We like to come here as it's easily accessible with free parking. Staff are always friendly and helpful. But the food needs to have better consistency to make us continue to return. When people are more cautious about spending money these days you want the experience to be 100% rather than a regretful event .
