Katie is a credit to this pub. She opened the door and helped me get a wheelchair in and was so lovely and polite. Well done

Lovely place one of Marston’s better looking places. Hence the high prices. But worth it. Well done too the staff for the hard work

Called in after taking the dogs to Sutton park. Very clean and tidy and well maintained. Shannon served us and she was very pleasant and friendly. She bought water and treats for the dogs and they throughly enjoyed them. Food was delicious and we will definitely be back again. Excellent service from Shannon. Voir le carte

Very nice pub. Had the Christmas Dinner, only fault with dinner was a very small amount of gravy ,probably poured out of a thimble,on just one slice of turkey. Some of the veggies were dry. Asked by a waitress ,when I had just two mouthfuls of food left ,if we enjoyed our meal. I mentioned about the lack of gravy. Her reply, Do you want me to get you some more gravy. I'd finished my meal ,so surprised by her reply. Other than that the meal was enjoyable and so was the desert afterwards

Bar service slow only 2 members of staff they couldn’t find any wine glasses took too long. Ordered breaded mushrooms to start no they came out with mains ordered nachos which came cold I know the menu doesn’t state hot or cold but since when do you have cold nachos no cheese even the cheese sauce what little was on there was cold awful and not cheap either just under £10.00 just for that. The loaded fries with pulled pork was good ! Breaded mushrooms ok Disappointing visit don’t go out very often will think twice next time !!

My family and I visited your pub. Me and my partner ordered the sharer chicken wings. When I bit into the first one I noticed how cold they were. On Inspection every single chicken wing was freezing to the bone. It was like they had only just been defrosted and not cooked at all. We told one of the ladies who were collecting glasses to which she apologised and said she would get us some more. When the second plate of chicken wings come they were again freezing to the bone. We returned these to the bar and complained to which we were told that the reason the food is not acceptable is because they are so short staffed. I now have the worst sickness bug and I am convinced it is from the chicken... Voir le carte

We waited a while to be greeted and this continued. We waited at the bar, waited at our table. There’s just not enough staff. The manageress was seated with friends chatting whilst young staff ran around trying to cope, without success, with demand. It was not busy, it was the 23rd of December, and we now know why. When the food did arrive, it was good, that’s what the three stars are for. The staff are surly and disinterested in their jobs, but I think I would be too if I was running around without enough support and my buss was sat chatting. We booked the create a bear experience for a fun, festive afternoon. The experience was advertised 1:30pm 3:00pm. We arrived at 1:25pm and were told to head to the conservatory. The three children sat down and were told there was an option of just two remaining Christmas characters. Thankfully, the children were content with the odd looking bear and the penguin. No chance of the elf as they had been given out already! At £18 per head we were looking forward to an afternoon of fun! We responded to the 30% offer you sent so on the 1st February we booked a table for 1900 hours for 2. This was a special occasion as I just retired and my partner and I have just moved in together. I placed the order at the bar and paid £37.15. It said approved on the card machine so I went and sat down. 5 minutes later the girl from the bar who had her hair done up.on her head came to me and said your card didn't go through and asked me to go to the bar and pay again. I found this strange but believed her. She charged me £24.78 which I thought was strange but assumed she forgot the 30% discount voucher. I checked my bank card an found she had billed me twice.
