We had a lovely dinner here. What a view!!! The staff were friendly, many local views on the walls and the food delicious! I loved that they played soft Scottish music in the background. Worth a stop but I recommend making reservations. Hotel highlights: Great view Voir le carte

Great food and lovely staff. Stayed in a single in main building then double in the wing behind. Staff were friendly and helpful especially when music was left on loud in staff house at back (they went up and turned it off). Would definitely stay again. This place is a great value for the stay the room was pretty big and the bed was super comfy. You get an amazing view if you're eating there and also the staff is very friendly and will make sure that your stay is pleasant it's a little out of the way but it's definitely worth the journey. Why this FABULOUS hotel is only 3 `s IS A SERIOUS CRIME!!!! Never have I tasted food so fresh and so good outside of London and New York! How this hotel in the `back and beyond` produces food and service at this high level heaven only knows? The Brit owners are 10/10 as so with ALL the staff. We didn’t stay overnight, just went to the restaurant but it was fantastic. Staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating of us and our dog (dogs allowed in bar area only). The food was delicious and reasonably priced, Sunday lunch beef was spot on! Relaxing atmosphere, great views and we enjoyed it so much we went back for coffee the next day whilst we waited for our ferry to depart. 5* all round. Service: 5 Location: 5 Voir le carte
