"I had a business dinner there and thank you for being recommended by my colleagues, because this place is a hidden gem! in an upscale quarter in a beautiful old building, that was just the beginning as if you were greeted at home. warm and friendly, even if the restaurant was busy. our waiter was attentive and informatiw and forgave/worked around my weak German and Italian language skills. And then the food...good prepared, authentic, tasty and elegant Italian cuisine. the wine selection was excellent and everything seemed quite favorable. would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for an increased culinary experience in Munich."

We walked over from our hotel (Westin Grand) and loved it so much we came back a night. Food was excellent and the service was great. Our waiter even remembered us from several nights before and knew exactly what we had ordered. Excellent customer...service! Patio dining here in the summertime is fabulous!

We visited this as two pax. Comfortable and traditional decor of multiple rooms. We heard many english speaking clientele so it looks like it is a haunt for business travellers. We had baby octopuss, different types of pasta they brought in half portions) and...dorado with a bottle of rosso di montalcino. All very very delicious.

This restaurant has been around for many many years and even though it is a bit outside of the center of Munich it is all worse-while the trip! Very authentic Italian cuisine with Italian waiters, so the flair and the Italian style is guaranteed! Food...and preparation are impeccable, especially in autumn season of rings from Alba with tartuffo are available. Voir le carte

The quality of Italian restaurants in Munich is so high, and the competition so intense, that I have until today never awarded less than stars to any of them. The Alba Trattoria just fails to make the grade. The food and service were good...but not outstanding. Will give it another chance during my next visit to Munich as one cannot really judge a restaurant on the basis of a single meal.

Yesterday we were there for the first time with friends. we have a surprise menu of giuseppe. What should we say? we were all incredibly excited. it was simply perfect the recommendation of wein. Even our hunger for a looot of us is Turkish was no problem at all. they were super sweet to our dog and the personal was funny and funny. Happy to try alba and we will come more often now, that sure! Many thanks for giving us and us Italian vasallenvibes.

we were invited by our dear German friends to support the Italian cuisine over everything, for lunch. the service of angelo (from the costa amalfitana) was enthusiastic, charming and upcoming; it certainly did not lack the Italian drama that we all enjoy once in a past. the food...was seasonal (we had handmade ravioli with a fresh filling, followed by mushrooms porcini, carciofi and a fish), delicious and cooked to our desires. only the brownies offered with the espresso lacked fresh and crunchy. all in all, certainly recommend a restaurant. Had a wonderful evening with an old friend. We came to Alba on a time from another friend and were pleasantly surprised with our experience. We shared a table for on the terrace along with the in-the-know crowd of Munich's Bogenhausen quarter. I had...sauteed artichokes for a starter and my companion had Melon with Parma Ham. Both were wonderful. We followed by both choosing the Poulard, which was incredibly juicy and tender. A lovely cuvee from Sicily helped us wash down the wonderful dinner. While slightly pricey, the food was simply perfect. A wonderful Italian Oasis on the edge of Munich city!

this is a true hidden gem in our neighboring world when we are in a bit of a bit. it has a romantic atmosphere, delicious menu offers and excellent service of pasquale, michele enzo. this trio works the room with simple grace....a friendly professionality to her diners. we. are there quite often as a family, but also hosting a event that was wonderfully delicious. they can easily have a small company function or family celebration if planned in advance. I believe they reopen in early September.after a deserved holiday! refreshment. we are already thrilled for them to reopen and enjoy their delicious food! until then, cristian g.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
