"Wir waren zu zweit da und waren in Summe sehr zufrieden. Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine Suppe mit Nudeln und Hühnerfleisch, die geschmacklich sehr gut und reichlich war. Als Hauptgericht dann 2 x Kalbfleisch, die 42 und die 23 (Spezialität des Lokals) beides auch geschmacklich sehr gut und große Portionen. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, der Service ok und Preis Leistung für die Lage in Schwabing auch gut. Da muss man mal afghanisch gegessen haben, das ist sehr gut."

"We went here for lunch after visiting Schloss Nymphenburg. There's a very Italian atmosphere: relaxing and enjoyable. The servers are very friendly and attentive. I had the Lasagna for lunch and my husband had Risotto. They were not called Risotto for nothing! The Risotto tastes amazing! The Lasagna was also very good. The servers were so nice they threw in an extra appetizer that came with the Lasagna for my husband. The only drawback is that even though it looked like a quiet neighborhood street "Hirschgartenalle", there were a lot of delivery trucks that passed by. Not the restaurant's fault, though. We still found the outside Terrace seating very lovely."

"Essen überwiegend sehr lecker, aber es gab sonntags um 7 schon recht vieles nicht mehr. Service sehr freundlich. Atmosphäre eher wie eine Bar, auch mit recht lauter Musik und insgesamt sehr entspannt. Als Entschädigung für die fehlenden Gerichte haben wir einen großen Nachtisch kostenlos bekommen. "We booked the bus for a corporate event while in Munich for a conference. At the last minute we had a large group RSVP that they were coming! Luckily they were able to provide us a second bus. We opted for the Italian meal. The busses picked us up at the Conference Center, and we proceeded to the first stop, the appetizer course. At each stop you can get off the bus if you would like and use the facilities at each restaurant. The waitress on board will make and deliver your beverages, including lovely cocktails. There was only one singer, so at each stop she switched busses, often times with a small crowd following her from one bus to the other. The entertainment was very good. The food itself was delicious. Caprese salad for an appetizer, and because I have celiac they were able to provide an alternate main course- shrimp scampi with roasted vegetables. Our vegetarians were also accommodated nicely. All in all it was a beautiful night, the entertainment was great, and the scenery (the City of Munich) was fantastic. It was a unique event at the conference and everyone had a great time."

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."

"Meine Eindrücke sind etwas gemischt. Die lockere Begrüßung kamen sehr positiv an. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Gut fand ich auch, das viel zum Essen und Wein erzählt und erklärt wurde. Allerdings das sitzen auf der Holzbank spricht nicht für Gemütlichkeit. Auch habe ich mich vom Zauberberg beim Essen überraschen lassen, was auch mal eine andere Erfahrung war, als von der Karte zu wählen. Vom Essen selbst konnte mich das Restaurant leider nicht überzeugen. Es waren paar sehr gute Sachen dabei, aber es gab auch essen was versalzen war und mein Hauptgericht (veretarisch) war im ganzen ein zu trockenes Essen. Für mein Empfinden war das Preis Leistungspaket etwas zu hoch."

"I am absolutely thrilled! I ordered a mini cheesecake by mail. The cake came nicely packed with a nice message from one of the grandmothers and the recipe for the cake. You notice the effort and the loving gesture behind it. The cheese cake is also very tasty and you will definitely notice the self-made."

"We went in for a quick glass of wine and fell in love with the weinbar! We loved it so much, we stopped back the next night. We were lucky enough to have the same server. Jenny was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgable about the wine. She recommended different tastings based on our description of what we like to drink in the States and expanded our horizons that we are now drinking wines from the same regions in Germany. "we made a reservation and after we set ourselves (free), we waited 10 minutes for the menu. when they did not come, we went in and asked. After asking for the menu, we waited 10 minutes and I had to go in for the second time. (Note, it was not crowded at all and the place was occupied as 20%) we ordered a drink that is clearly called on the menu, but the waiter did as if he were not speaking German and English at all. serviette and cutlery were not served at the beginning, but we had to wait 5 minutes after they had served the pizza. we are the regular customers, but I must say that the service last night was incredibly terrible."

"I was taken here by some work colleagues on a recent business trip to Munich. We received a very warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. The restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday night which is always a good sign.The menu choice is huge. We ordered a variety of starters all of which was very tasty indeed. My main meal was a usual choice for me, but have to say I was very impressed with the quality, and size of the portion. I like my rice, and was pleasantly surprised when they automatically serve you rice rather than order it from the menu. During the meal they ask if you want more rice so this was very good. Everything was delicious.Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and atmosphere in this restaurant. Would definitely return here and wish this was near me in the UK!."

"After scouring through many reviews searching for the perfect restaurant for NYE dinner for our family, we thought this would be perfect. And how can you go wrong with Italian? We made the reservation well in advance and were greeted with our reserved table. We...then sat for about 10 minutes waiting for menus in a restaurant that did not seem to be busy. We were surprised at the steep prices on the menus, but it was NYE, so to be expected. The aperitif was amazing; the rest, not so much. For appetizers, we had the fish soup and pumpkin soup (which we’ve had quite a bit of living in DE for the past 18 months)...just bland. The bread was also bland and we were not offered any oil/vinegar or butter. Even my daughters didn’t like the bread and they always eat Italian bread. Pizza was ok. Lamb chops lacked any seasoning. Sea bass was ok. Risotto was quite simply rice (al dente), with the tiniest shrimp I’d ever seen (probably from a can) and super bland. Have eaten and made enough risotto to know the difference...just terrible. Never were we offered dessert, coffee or after dinner drinks. I would not recommend this place. Go to L’Osteria instead. At least there you know what you’re getting and get your money’s worth. Very disappointing NYE dinner overall."

"Wir waren zu zweit an einem Mittwoch Nachmittag hier, saßen draußen und hatten sowohl Zeit, als auch eine Reservierung, das vielleicht vorraus. Die Hardfacts: Wir hatten zwei Aperol Spritz, eine Flasche Wasser, Spaghetti con gamberoni und Penne alla Petroniana und zahlten knapp 60€. Zum Service: Ich konnte meine Reservierung noch kurzfristig und ohne Probleme eine halbe Stunde nach hinten korrigieren und erlebte einen zuvorkommenden, höflichen und kompetenten Service, der immer in Sichtweite blieb. Zur Küche: Das Essen war geschmacklich hervorragend, die Portionen definitiv groß genug und der Preis für die gebotene Qualität absolut in Ordnung, eine Tatsache die wohl dafür sorgen wird, dass ich die Vielfalt der Karte nicht kennenlernen werde, denn wir werden wiederkommen und ich werde wieder die Penne nehmen. Zum Gastgeber und der Atmosphäre: Der Chef des Betriebes nimmt seine Rolle als Gastgeber überaus ernst, wir fühlten uns wieder einmal sehr willkommen. Allein die Tatsache, dass er jeden Tag, gefühlt jede Minute vor Ort und ansprechbar ist zeigt seine Nähe zu den Gästen. Alles weitere erledigt dann die englische Bulldogge, der man auf jedenfall eine entspannende Wirkung auf die Gäste zuschreiben muss. Nicht weit vom hektischen Tal geht es hier sowieso sehr entspannt zu, obwohl man direkt an der Straße sitzt. Alles in allem decken sich unsere Erfahrungen auch mit meinen letzten Besuchen vor ein paar Monaten und Jahren. Super Service, super Küche, tolle Atmosphäre, danke dafür!"

"Met by happy, welcoming and lovely staff. The Thai beers came in 'cool jackets' to keep them cold in the hot weather, ace idea! My two brothers n I devoured the sharing platter, absolutely delicious. Then came the soups, two of us had the chicken and one prawn. Gorgeously spicy and smooth flavour. My eldest bro asked if he could have his prawn soup spicy like Thailand and he got it!.
