"The “21” owes its name to its location on the upper floor of the Kaiserslauterner Rathaus at a height of 72 m. The restaurant is located in 21. Stock! Last summer, my husband and I started the first attempt of a dinner here (without reservation). The Friday evening “After Work Party” was fully underway, so we were looking for a quieter destination. Panoramic views can be enjoyed from the large outdoor terrace. September 2017 Now my friend and husband invited her daughter’s birthday to “21”. Sunday evening it is pleasantly quiet there. We were looking forward to it. Five, we're on our way to downtown. Since Sunday night we even found free parking. Last year we felt that the construction was very unused at the end of the 1960s. Nothing has happened here for decades. I was hoping for the functionality of the elevator. The restaurant cannot do anything for these points, but the city of Kaiserslautern urgently needs to improve the appearance. Finally, the office is also in the building. At the top we were kindly greeted in the modern restaurant and accompanied to our reserved on the window. Our table was simple and clean with table runners and fabric napkins. Not going to lie I was pretty hesitant on trying this restaurant after reading a few reviews. Happy to say we decided to give it a shot. We ordered appetizers, main course and cocktails. Everyone enjoyed their meals! We all agreed that we will revisit...during the long summer days to enjoy a cocktail and meal on the patio. Definitely make reservations, bring cash as they do not take cards. I thought everything was priced fine throughout the menu. Happy eating with a great city view

The 21 is, like the name indicates, on the 21 floor of the 'Rathaus ' which with his central location provides quit a good overview about the surroundings. At this time the Terrace wasn 't open so it would be a try to come again in a...hotter season and enjoy the view by daylight. The food during this visit was the 'Rinderconsommé ' followed by the the 'Putenschnitzel '. Nothing very special as dish but fortunate good, the pommes weren 't too soft, the Putenschnizel not too dry. Size was fair considering the price. To mention that the 21 isn 't just purely a Restaurant, you may just jump in and enjoy fingerfood with a drink in the smaller part used as lounge. The lounge isn 't realy separate...
