"The Ayame is one of the best restaurants in Kaiserslautern and, when it comes to original Japanese cuisine, definitely the best restaurant in this region. The masta (head chef) is a master chef. We enjoy the best sushi and ramen around here. All dishes, original Japanese cuisine, that are not so popular in Germany, such as: B. Okonomiyaki (Japanese omelette), Takoyaki (octopus balls), Karaage (fried and previously marinated chicken), grilled eel, or the vegetarian dishes are also of the highest quality. Everything is freshly prepared. Even the wasabi paste is handmade and one of the best I've had the pleasure of enjoying. As a Japan connoisseur and lover, I can highly recommend Ayame. You can't praise this restaurant highly enough. Ayame is a great stroke of luck for Kaiserslautern. If you are also a food lover then I highly recommend this restaurant. The price-performance ratio is very good and, contrary to general opinion in Kaiserslautern, cheap. The ambience is pleasant, simply typically Japanese. Book in advance and immerse yourself in original Japanese cuisine at the highest level. Itadakimasu!"

Ein absolut authentisches Erlebnis! Klein aber geschmacklich ganz groß. Die Sushis schmecken wirklich fein, aber noch besser sind die japanischen Pfannkuchen Namens Okonomiyaki. Umami vom Feinsten. Ich kann nur jedem raten, die Pfannkuchen zu probieren.

From the dumplings to the numerous types of delicous sushi, we just might have finally found our Sushi restaurant in this back woods West Virginian part of Germany.
