Best India in Hexham, so good and great service!! Recommend to anyone visiting, you won’t be disappointed

This restaurant is the best I’ve ever tasted. The lamb and chicken curries were exquisite and the people were lovely!

We were at a concert at the Abby. We would highly recommend this restaurant. The service food were excellent. We wanted to stay longer as we were enjoying the atmosphere so much but had to go to the concert which is very near by.

By far the best Indian restaurant I've eaten in, all staff were very accommodating and they're recommendations were greatly appreciated, the Venison dish I was recommended is now my favourite dish and will be asking for in every future restaurant I visit

Superb Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant. Quality of food was great, I had Chicken Chat Puree to start which was very tasty and good portion. Main was Lal Mans Lamb curry, lots of depth and flavour, made it spicy to my liking and naan bread was something else. Definitely recommend. Was looked after Mash and Abi and made sure I was not rushed. Did suggest they should have more wine by the glass which they have assured they will feedback to the owners

Zyma is excellent in every respect. The staff are very welcoming and the service is good. The overall ambience is good and the tablecloths and layout of the table create an upmarket atmosphere. I have visited India on numerous occasions and find the food to be very different to that served in the UK at Indian restaurants. In particular dishes are not ‘hot’: rather they are marinated for a long time and the food is infused with the flavour of the spices and herbs. This was certainly the case at Zyka My Railway lamb curry was labelled with two peppers, so I was a little dubious at first, but it was delicious with a delicious flavour and little heat; just what I would have expected in India. Undoubtedly the best dining experience of the year! We called ahead to book a table and were greeted with incredible and inviting phone service. The decor was stunning, instantly transporting us to India with peaceful music, cozy furnishings, and beautiful lighting. Suv and Mash were exceptional hosts, ensuring our visit was extraordinary. They treated us like royalty and made sure everything was perfect. The chefs deserve massive compliments, as the food was divine and above gourmet standards. I ordered a chicken tikka madras with extra garlic, keema rice, and keema naans, while my partner had a chicken tikka kasmeri with all the trimmings - both dishes were emptied and left us satisfied.
