"I am sad to write this review. But I think it will help the manager realise there's an issue. We found the staff to be a little disconnected and not personable. A little shocked the order came to £27!! But had high hopes. The food came quickly and we couldn't help but laugh. The weird combination of nachos and coleslaw was baffling... and my partners soup was stone cold. Someone forgot to turn the soup kettle on? Or microwave?? Anyway. We won't be back unfortunately unless there's a drastic menu redesign. Pond was nice"

Came here for breakfast yesterday. Staff were friendly, food was tasty and service was very quick. Will definitely be returning.

Very disappointing. Ordered Paninis and hot drinks. Both plates were chipped badly and the paninis were very dry. Was served by someone in football shorts which seemed odd. Will not return as there are much better cafes out there.

The food is good quality, but on this occasion was poorly executed as both mine and my companions food was dripping in grease. Nice setting next to the pond, but on closer inspection there was a lot of litter in it, and it could use a bit of a clean up.

Been here a couple of times for just a drink and their hot chocolates are always lovely. But came for lunch a couple of weeks back, had the Quiche. It was OK, but nothing to shout home about. I also think it could do with some new potatoes or something on the side rather than just salad.

Beautiful setting particularly in Summer. Decorated well. Place was very busy and the staff, in particular the manager was incredibly friendly. Food was delicious especially the sausage roll and huge!! Coffee was good and piping hot. Loved the visit and will definitely be returning. A hidden gem

Came here for coffee off the whim and the coffee was the best I’ve had in Norwich. Nice crockery too! Staff all very friendly and nice vibes from the team. Breakfast was delicious (I didn’t even take a picture because I wanted to dive in). You can tell they all work hard and I have to say I will definitely be back

On Thursday 4th April my daughter took me to Waterside to have breakfast. As she's been many times before and it's usually good. But not today everything came out of the kitchen over cooked.. Bacon so well done it was not able to eat this was the same for the sausage and egg. I could not recommend to my friends certainly not eat breakfast again. Very disappointed.

Absolutely appalling. Had been to this cafe a few times when they first opened and it was lovely food and service. Yesterday we were not served at all food literally never arrived)?, there was no explanation or apology after an hour’s wait. Place was filthy, dirty plates piled up, inside the bar area stuff all over the floor. But the ‘tram’ happily laughing together on the kitchen. Definitely won’t last long ….
