We cycle regularly to this cafe for lunch. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff so friendly. It never fails to impress

This charming café has a great location, but the food is lacking. The menu is limited and mostly consists of "beige" food. It would benefit from offering healthier options.

Spent a pleasurable time there on Sunday for lunch. It is a regular haunt of mine. Normally my goto place for the occasional weekday breakfast treat. Lovely ladies behind the counter and pleasant food from the kitchen. Heartily recommended whether for just a cuppa and slice of cake or a hearty, tasty meal

My friends and I are regular customers and always have a great lunch. They can be very busy sometimes but the staff are always pleasant even though they can be swept off of their feet. The food is consistently good. I have never met Julie and Julia before I started coming so have no bias but have to say they are a credit to Cafe verde who are lucky to have them. The restaurant was well air conditioned on a very hot day with a nice, spacious atmosphere. The meal was really delicious, but it felt like there weren't enough staff to handle the workload. Although I wasn't in a rush, it was a bit frustrating that the staff avoided making eye contact when trying to get their attention. Overall, I would still give it four stars, but I may have been less generous if I had been on a tighter schedule.

A real gem tucked away in this fairly small village. My wife and I called in for lunch on our day of arrival and were very impressed with the excellent and friendly service, the generous servings and the food quality. This initial experience prompted us to visit each morning of our four day break for breakfast rather than cook at our holiday cottage. This set us up for each day and we cannot recommend Cafe Verde too highly. Thank to the ladies who served us and to the chef.

We have been loyal customers for many years, but today's experience was extremely disappointing. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks, and when they finally arrived, we were told that the server was new. While understanding, I politely reminded her about our order. Despite this, our food never arrived, causing stress for my 90-year-old diabetic mother who needed to eat. After 45 minutes and another reminder, we were met with annoyance rather than politeness. As a restaurant owner myself for 14 years, I know how busy it can get, but the restaurant was nearly empty at that time. When the food finally arrived, it was subpar - my bacon and Brie were mostly fat, while my mother's turkey was mostly... Voir le carte
