This place has gone down! It's just about the level of an upmarket Weatherspoons! Poor quality cooking. They had run out of so much on the menu!

Called in for lunch. The meal was very good. Two of us had fish and chips and one had pizza. Fish and chips was excellent, large fish and cooked well and pizza was good. Service was fine.Will definitely be going back. Voir le carte

Friendly welcome. Nice table in a good atmosphere. Excellent service from Dan, very accommodating looked after us well. Food was tasty well presented. Dan recommended the crumble- great choice! Very happy with our visit. Guest suggestion- would be good to offer coffee mini dessert option on the menu.

I recently took a friend from the USA, who we have known for many years, to this restaurant. We both loved the atmosphere and the food - the sausage and mash was particularly delicious! However, the real standout was our waitress, Emma, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable when it came to gluten-free and nut allergies.

We were greeted by a friendly team of staff who were attentive and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent, as too was the service. Overall, it was a wonderful end to the Christmas break prior to returning to work and school. We will return undoubtedly. One suggestion would be to update drinks lists to include the plethora of spirits available. Voir le carte

The place is beautifully decorated, spacious and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the service was quick. Unfortunately, there were no pizzas available but the other options were great; the main and dessert we had were brilliant. We had an early reservation and thought we may be asked to leave after our 2 hour slot was up, but we were not rushed and our waitress was attentive throughout. This was our first visit and we will definitely visit again.

The food here is quite expensive but unfortunately there’s not a lot of it and it’s not very good quality. A £23 rib eye steak was tough as boots, it had about 12 chips with it and the green pea shoots were simply about an inch of pea shoots on the plate. My plate was about a quarter filled. My friend had a sirloin and that was also a poor quality. The waitress Katie was lovely and very helpful but this restaurant is really lacking. Probably won’t return which is sad as it’s in a lovely setting.

I visited the restaurant on March 9th for a meal. Unfortunately, after waiting 45 minutes for my rare steak, it was served well done. When I discreetly informed the bar staff to resolve the issue quickly, instead of an apology, they argued with me. Eventually, they agreed it was not rare and took it away to remake. However, they continued to argue with me about the situation. After sitting for over an hour without receiving my food, I had to cancel and request a refund due to the poor service. Even asking for a refund took an additional ten minutes. Overall, the service was disappointing and unacceptable. Voir le carte
